Carter is pretty much a finished product at age 27. There is hope for 23-year old Nwora. He has an outside shot at becoming a rotation contributor.buckbeer wrote:drone3 wrote:Who would you rather pay Nwora or Carter?
Why not keep both, they won't be expensive to keep for next season.
Carter, despite great shooting over the last two games, is a defense-only player. He was practicing his shooting before a game last week and was missing about 80%of his shots, unguarded. He is an active defender, but an offensive liability and will likely never improve.
I have been down on Nwora for most of the last 2 seasons, but have recently been impressed with the minor growth in his game He is driving to the basket more instead of hoisting from the arc. He is moving his feet on defense. But he has a long way to go. Tonight he was 5 for 13 from the field, 1 force from 3-point. For the season he has been a disappointment, with a 41% overall FGA%.
