Another wasted season for the Blazers, though they can be comforted by Simons' breakout. Still, This should be a comfortable win if the Jazz take this game seriously.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Re: Game 65: Utah Jazz (40-24) vs Portland Trail Blazers (25-39)
I didn't tune in to watch much of this rout against Portland's thoroughly depleted roster, but I did tune in to watch some great passes by NAW. He had 5 assists in 12 minutes. Too bad he didn't make his shots though. Hernangomez made his shots.
I sure hope Rudy Gay finds some better shooting rhythm before the playoffs, but signing a 35 year old coming off surgery to a three year, $18 million dollar contract was a risky proposition. Third year is a player option.
If Rudy doesn't get better, these Gay minutes should have been going to Paschall, but I understand that the Jazz are probably trying to give every opportunity to the guy with the three year contract versus the guy with an expiring contract. Further regarding Paschall, I wonder if he could be a better rebounder if he dropped about 15 pounds?

What a thrashing, nice to be on the winning side after the Pels Debacle.
Agree with hoping Rudy Gay can get it going before the playoffs, think the same for Conley although he is contributing in many ways other than scoring.
I think Paschal has shown enough that he will be back, if he wants to. Big body that is more Athletic than he looks. Interesting statement about how he might improve his rebounding, hadn't thought if that. He adds a bunch and when he gets his opportunities, he makes the most of them, similar to how Forrest played his way into a more prominent role.
I was also impressed with NAW's assists. Agree, too bad he didn't hit his shots, but he made some nice contributions with assists, defense and a few rebounds. I think Forrest is keeping NAW off the floor. I hope Forrest can get more comfortable attempting his outside shot. I guess its good he knows his strengths and plays to them, I just hope he isn't giving up on improving his outside shot.
