Explain why they lose to a 17-49 Rockets' team when they desperately need a win...

He just doesn't have anything left in the tank in crunch time.

Did you see the open opportunity to score at the end of the game?

Do you really think a prime LeBron lets this team lose the 17-49 Rockets?

Keep mentioning his offensive stats, in this inflated offensive stats era. But to the eye test he is being destroyed by Father Time. Not his fault but he needs to be the 2nd or 3rd option.

AD needs to be healthy, obviously.

There has been plenty of games this season where Lebron has single handily kept us in games. To act as if he doesn't have anything in his tank is ignorant when he's shown plenty of times this season that he has plenty.

He played 45 minutes this game. Most of it at Center if not all of it. The **** is Vogel thinking here exactly?

He shouldn't have played this game period. Let alone 45 **** minutes.

Okay, I may have been exaggerating but do you really think he is equivalent to a prime Lebron right now?

if not, then obviously he is being affected by Father time.

He shot 9-26 tonight. In kind of a must win game.

Him performing well in some games and not in others is evidence of my point...

prime LeBron was consistently great. He wouldn't lose to a 17-49 Rockets' team.

Just accept one: either Lebron is well past his prime or not.

Stop trying to hold onto the idea that LeBron is still a top 10 player. he isn't. Not for an entire season. I doubt even for a Playoff series. He's 37. .. Someday you'll look back and realize LeBron was a shell of his former self this season.

He needs a prime AD. otherwise this Laker team is useless.

He literally was a inch away from scoring 60 last game against a great team... Lol

No one is saying that he's 28 but saying that he's being destroyed by father time is insane. He still would be the best player on majority of the teams in the league and still clearly one of the best players in the league

Past his prime. Still top 10 in my opinion. We just suck. Good chunk of it due to Lebron wanting Westbrook and Vogel being a mediocre coach.

Why is Vogel playing Lebron and Melo at C? Sengun had 21/14 this game looking like prime Olajuwon. He averages 8PPG ffs.

But i am all in on trading both AD and Lebron. We'd get a good haul from both of them and we could proceed with throwing both Vogel and Rob out of this team for good. They wont get a job anywhere else.

Edit: And whats with his obsession with playing AB-Russ-DJ together all the time? Why was Reeves sitting for so long whilst AB was stinking it up? Why did he yank Gabriel out after 2 minutes lol. He actually looked good in the time he was in there.

People talking about Lebron being checked out. I believe he is to an extent. But nobody is mentioning how **** spaced out Vogel is. I honestly think he doesn't give a **** anymore. Because his coaching is baffling.

This game is dumb. Why can't ESPN send it to Clippers/Wiz?

A couple no calls as well while Hawks players were hammered to the ground. game has become unwatchable.

Giannis gets a lot of leniency from the refs. He constantly bulldozes and gets away with it

this is what happens if you count raw stats. lebron is nowere near the best player he would be lucky to be a mvp candidate 3rd team.
miami lebron would never lose to a historically bad team and it makes no sense prime lebron has worse stats. he is clearly stat padding and not playing half the game. meanwhile westbrook is just a victim of usage bc of lebron not because he is washed up like him. his shooting isnt even that bad would be easily over 45% if not for lebron taking away 30 shots in days like these.

Nuggets shooting like it's their third in four, fourth in six.

And they gotta fly tonight for another game tomorrow.

That's five games in seven days. Brutal.

Before one day off and a flight to Philadelphia for a sixth game in nine days.

I just looked at the Utah Portland score. There's tanking, but Portland may want to make it a little less obvious. 3 different Utah players are a +43, Josh Hart is a -51 and we're still in the third quarter

Campazzo with the rare backwards pass on a two-on-one fast break. When it works, nothing tickles my fancy more. It's what internet would call "oddly satisfying."

MrGoat wrote:Dumb of Kidd to leave Luka in that game as long as he did, he led a run in the 3rd but he was just getting no help tonight. He picked up his 14th tech of the year with about 5 minutes left, he can only get one more without a suspension in these next 16 games. I remember one of the concerns about Luka pre draft was his DeMarcus Cousins like temper and that still looks to be a bit of an issue with him

Mavs should just have him get two before the next "easy-win" on their schedule.

Sometimes I have crazy thoughts like, "If Jokic got injured, at least he could get some rest." No one should have to carry a team this way for a whole NBA season.
