See what Bruce Brown is doing with Kyrie and KD? Now imagine Simmons taking over his role

playoffs will start and it will be the harden and embiid iso show. maxey will need to become a catch and shoot guy or thrive when harden sits. his energy and pace will get slowed down since harden dribbles it to death.
But Harden isn't going to be super relevant for more than a couple years, Maxey is shooting 42% on 3's, they don't lose anything keeping him. Not ready at all for playoffs true, but could say the same for Thybulle who they also wanted to keep, at the end of the day it's hard to lose talent.
**** even losing Drummond to get Deandre Jordan is a serious downgrade IMO, they didn't want to lose anybody at the end of the day but they had to. I'm enjoying this game but I'm not gonna get blinded by it, just like I wasn't blinded by Harden and the Sixers smashing the Knicks.

Re: Thursday 3/10 Game Thread
Sixers fans came to boo Simmons and ended up booing their own team. Classic Philly!

I wonder if Philly fans ever imagined themselves booing their own team during this game.. Ben must be loving it.

I expected the Philly crowd to boo Simmons, not their own team

How can any player that shoots as good as him be a throw in. If they had Harris it would be bananas shooting on the roster.

You forget last playoffs?

Re: Thursday 3/10 Game Thread
The strange thing is that the Sixers can't seem to score. The Nets are supposed to have this patchwork defense, but it's been stifling the Sixers for the most part.

First time watching Harden as a 76er and he still looks slow to me. I heard a lot of talk of how he looks rejuvenated, but I still don't see any burst to his game.

Re: Thursday 3/10 Game Thread
How long before Harden demands another trade out of Philly because he can't handle the pressure?

Whose game has changed more dramatically than Bruce Brown? Remember when he was a ball handling point guard in Detroit?

Re: Thursday 3/10 Game Thread
I love Jokic, and Embiid, and Giannis, and Curry... but headed into a 7 game series I'm taking KD without much hesitation.

Nets are only scary with Kyrie.
Thats the problem.
People keep forgetting he can barely play. Despite how incredible he is.
