Embiid probably not the mvp favorite after this game. Really close race with Giannis, Jokic, and embiid

Brooklyn did all this without 3-4 of their rotational players in Simmons/Harris/Aldridge/Griffin. Stacked all around.

Thats the problem.

People keep forgetting he can barely play. Despite how incredible he is.

Well philly would have HCA in the series, so Kyrie would get 4 games to help them win the series

Wouldn’t be surprised if they change that mandate. Things have been dialing back a lot lately.

True, but that could just as easily re-sintitute the mandate again if these teams meet in the, say, ECF, if another spike happens in May.

Wow. Three other starters shot a lower FG% than Embiid's 29.4%.

Embiid is an all time talent but his game is so disgusting to watch.

Then why does Westbrook suck so bad now? He hasn't had any major injuries, KD has had far worse injuries. They're the same age, its because KD is an all time great and any success they had was solely because of him, like Lebron leading the Cavs to the finals in his first stint.

Sure Westbrook put decent stats, but his shooting has always been horrible and when it came to close games in the playoffs Westbrook was useless. He's the ultimate empty stats guy, he's a career 29% shooter from 3 in the playoffs. If thats youre second best player you're not going far lol. It's because of him the tripple double doesn't mean much anymore lol.

Players fall off the cliff athletically at different times.

This is about Durant not Westbrook stop getting it confused.

Biggest mistake the Thunder made during that era was building around Westbrook rather than Durant. They revolved around Westbrook ball rather than letting Durant dictate the offense mostly.

Its one of the biggest reasons his game has fallen off a cliff since leaving. Houston had to trade Capela to compromise for Westbrook, WAS had him dictate most of the offense. Even now he looks bad with Lebron on the court but you see parts of the old Russ when its just him and role players.

Fine if that's true (which I fully disagree with) and it was really that bad getting to the WCF and Finals every year with that core than they'd trade Westbrook and Durant still would win.

Stop getting focused on Westbrook when this is about Prime Durant winning as the man on his own team and being as dominate of an era as we've seen from LeBron or Jordan.

We could have had that if Durant wasn't a pathetic cupcake. We were robbed of his legacy by his mental failures.

Nothing is ever going to pass the MLK day matchup between Golden State and Cleveland in 2016.

Not only did the Nets win the game.. but imagine Simmons confidence now just from being on the sideline watching this. This is massive for the Nets

Wow. The refs have to stop carrying Embiid this is horrible for the game of basketball.

Let him earn it on the court. Or let him fail on the court like I suspect he would without the refs carrying him.

This was a shooting foul lmao

I was this close to turning the game off at that point. Glad I stuck it out, though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Embiid started crying on his way to the locker room like he did when Kawhi hit the series winner.

They won't bring back the mandate. Unless things REALLY get bad.

Geezes

I'm numb to it at this point because I don't even remember that play but he has at least 5 of those a game.

This is just terrible for basketball. They were supposed to stop calling non basketball plays like this as fouls this year.

Harden does not play well with a clogged lane.. so idk what they're going to do to figure that part out. Sixers also have zero movement on offense.. just standing around

It took BRK's big 3 dying for the Bucks to edge them out. And even then, they needed one of the best 3pt shooters of this generation to miss every open look. BRK can be beat......if theyre injured

This ain’t that same bucks team who shot 32% from 3 and Giannis shot 50% from the line it goes both ways Bud and the bucks still won with out Jrue showing up on offense and Portis has really improved he didn’t even play in that series with Lopez returning soon and adding Ibaka I love our size advantage
