Yup. Not that I think Wiseman is likely to reach that level (it's just statistically hard to) but I certainly think he can be an all-star or more likely a fringe all-star type player that has good impact for us.

Giannis's 19yr old season wasn't very good either back when he was still a raw prospect -- 41.4% shooting in his first year. We have a tough system to learn, Wiseman has a great chance of developing the more time he gets. I look for him to take a big step next year. It'll be gravy if he can give us a solid 5-10mpg as a backup this season.

Seemed to me that Wiseman played better after his first quarter stint. In the first quarter, he looked like someone who hasn't played a game in nearly a year. Or pretty much the way I expected him to look - rusty. But he seemed to get a better rhythm after that and appeared more comfortable to me.

I agree that he played better as the game went along but he started off a little more lethargic than I was hoping to see. If he is going to give the team any help this season he is going to need to bring energy and effort for the minutes he is on the court. All in all not a bad game after such a long layoff.

I could care less about his offense. How did he look on defense? Still lost?

Agree here.
Also despite the near triple double Chiozza sucks in the Gleague too.

I thought he looked a bit lost, but wasn't watching it super closely.

Team was a bit of a mess and doesn't seem well-coached, so prob cant take much from his defense one way or another

I just don’t see how we are acting like we’re going to put him on Joker when Joker is making advanced twirling pump fake up and unders. He’s going to look like a clown guarding that stuff.

I agree he needs to bring energy, but to be fair we don't know what was going on in his head either. He may have been tentative or nervous about hurting himself initially and was able to relax after he realized his knee was holding up. Or at least if he did feel that way, I think that would be reasonable.

Looked like a major upgrade already compared to belly-flop.
