Will we ever see another Lebron?

Post#1 » by True Sports » Sat Mar 12, 2022 5:56 am

It's crazy what we are seeing from Lebron at age 37. He's averaging 29/8/6 on 51/34/70. This is arguably the longest/greatest peak in NBA history and he is on his way of creating an exclusive club (30k/10k/10K). Enjoy him while you still have him folks

I honestly feel bad for the fans who do nothing but hate on him. They're missing out on a once in a generation talent and career.

We'll never see a player that can generate so much irrational hate from people. He has the ability to get people so triggered that their IQ drops 50+ points and they become unable to think or argue with reason.

Of course we'll never see another LeBron. Just like we'll never see another MJ, or another Kareem, or another Magic, etc. I just wish LeBron would make smarter decisions and would present himself better. It's hard not to be distracted by it.

With that said, I had a blast watching him dominate tonight. It was truly a spectacle.

If he had the same talent without all the extra off the court stuff he would be more universally loved.

Naw, I don't believe in reincarnation.
Not even sure I believe in an afterlife at all, tbh.

And it will be his 40k/10k/10k "check my stats" club in two years. Might be 50k in total points (regular+playoffs) if he stays for a while. Good luck trying to beat that with all the load management

Of course. It’s just about winning the genetic lottery and willingness to use PEDs on top of it from an early age.

I still have MJ over Lebron in the GOAT debate but what this man is doing in his year 19 season is unreal. Can't believe there are still people who question his greatness.

Kareem had the extended peak as well. Hes the 'ghost' lebron is chasing. Mix in modern medicine training diet and its foolish to bet against longevity getting better with time. It's like monetary inflation, but with human biology.

But similar in ways to tom Brady, he is certainly breaking the conceptions of how athletes "should" age. You could argue barry bonds is the godfather of this era of prolonged peaks (or in bonds' case, ridiculous HGH fueled end of career uptick) but that is a whole different topic

We already got that in Trae Young. Non Hawks fans hate him and lose their minds when people show numbers and intelligent posts about how good of a player he is. The whole "F*** Trae Young" thing speak for itself.

Yes he will be cloned. We’re living in a matrix, after all.

The crazy thing is, he can give another 3-4 years as PF/C next to dominant guard and good shooters.

Do you also factor physical attractiveness in to the legacy of basketball players? I'm just wondering what other factors matter to you that that aren't on the court.
