Im not saying he should win but as a Celtics fan, smart is more deserving of votes than Williams and I love love love timelord. Could see smart ending up 3rd but I’d probably vote Bam myself

Bam is my pick because he is on my team, I dont need stats to back me up, its just my desire.

Joking apart, he is a defender in the molds of Simmons, they are the most versatile defenders on the league, they can defend in and out, and most important, in the regular season and in the playoffs.

Its a regular season award, Gobert has the stats and the Jazz are a **** without him, he will probably get it yet again, I dont like it, but I dont think they will pick other guy just to have a different DPOY

No one asked, but Bam, Simmons and Giannis are the dream defenders for me, and should get even more consideration yearly (Simmons not this year of course)

I got Jaren Jackson JR as the dark horse to win this Morant gets all the Credit but on Defense JJJ has been carrying the Grizzlies.

There's a tweet like this about Smart after basically every Celtics game. Dude is a defensive savant.
