Yessireeee. Several posters here were arguing for it and I could see why, it's because he makes us better on paper. But Harden is as anti-Celtic as they come; doesn't defend or hustle, pounds the ball, and plays with no heart during big games. I literally would've quit watching the Celtics if he was here. I am really, really happy he's not here.

Plus he has this little tendency to force teams to trade him whenever things don't go his way. His brand of basketball is unwatchable anyway (unless you're the type that hyperventilates when a player takes free throws).

I **** hate him. If he ended up here and somehow led us to a championship I still would feel sick to my stomach, because he probably would've flopped his way to 30 free throws a game to do it. I wish him nothing but failure

I guess the Celtics could have Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond and Seth Curry now. Perhaps Simmons would be emotionally ready to play by 2023.

You can't be sure Harden would've wanted Philly. Maybe he would've demanded that the Celtics' brass traded him to the Nets instead. So our new players would be Nic Claxton, Joe Harris and Patty Mills (and a couple unprotected first-round picks). And Harden would finally be joining forces with his friends KD and Kyrie.

I was told Mo Bamba was a bust from many on here. 27-12 tonight in a win

TimeLord
10-10-2 with 2 blocks

Bamba
10-8-1.2 with 1.8 blocks 35% from three on 5 less minutes and 2 less shots a game

Same people that think Bagley is a bust, no surprise. I'm starting to think lots of you don't actually watch basketball besides Celtics games and might not know what you're talking about. Weird that

As stated already many times. You should only judge players when they get sustained regular playing time. Makes me wonder, how many players in history may not have been given a real opportunity and gone before they had a real chance. Happy for Bagley..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

& yet every single coach/GM in the league would take Rob over those two & it’s not particularly close.

Check Orlando’s defense with bamba on the court without carter and vice versa. Then get back to me.

Because I know you won’t: the magic with bamba as their center without carter next to him: -21.5 net rating.

Carter as the lone center: -1.2

Both on the floor: -4.5

Make from that what you will, I know what it tells me.

Harden for brown doesn't make us better on just paper, it makes us better in reality  Heart matters but when compared to mvp talent it means nothing in comparison.

Bagley is a bust as the #2 pick and projected to be the next Bosh or Stoudemire. Instead he looks like he could be as good as Theis someday. If he was taken at #25 he’d be an okay prospect. But he was taken ahead of Doncic, Trae, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Timelord too…. Ouch!
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I could give a damn about Bagley and relative to where he was picked yeah he’ll fall short and has been a bust but he’s better than theis today Imo.
