Yeah, at least a semi-choke. SA just handed that game away in a way they just never usually did, up six with 30 seconds to play. Funny how close James is to having two chips instead of four, with that and the BS Draymond thing. Actually the bubble one is an asterisk, so 1 1/2.

Remember when Kawhi choked against us in the playoffs and the rest of the already good Raptors carried him across the finish line? Oh wait, other way around; he averaged 35 a game, along with a series ending GW shot, while the rest of his team turned into a pumpkin like they did every other year with DeRozan.

I'd say Kawhi is pretty clutch.

Totally agree. I had forgotten about the missed FT at Miami, but he's about as clutch as anyone in the last 20 years not named Kobe.

The reality is most of "clutch" and "choking" are narratives based on small sample sizes or anecdotes that are magnified because it's the national stage in a playoff series and not lost through the marathon of a regular season. And based purely on projections like assumptions about a player's mentality based on arbitrary things like their body language. And isn't actually based off anything tangible.

Brooklyn at its finest. It is what it is.

Seriously. We get it - Harden is a fat, lazy partying slob who will destroy the entire Sixers organization, the Nets are thrilled to get rid of him, Simmons is the perfect addition, and Durant has the ultimate "dog mentality".

Did I miss anything? Good, then we've been warned and informed. Now can they all just go back to their own thread?

Oh stop it. You guys have been coming to our board trashing Ben too. It goes both ways here. Prior to the game last week Sixer fans were consistently coming over to tell us how horrible of a player Ben is.

Now all of a sudden, it stopped

Nets deal with these cold shooting streaks of Harden by playing 2 shooters at the guard positions then sliding Harden to the 3.

For this team, we need to get Thybulle off the floor. Either put Niang or Shake or Kork or Joe in the place of Thybulle.

Who is Ben? Does she still play in the NBA or has she been traded to the WNBA?

Any thoughts on why she is terrified to play basketball again?

Both fan bases are happy with the trade. It's a rare trade that worked out well for both teams. Who cares what other people say about it. James Harden was done with the Nets so they had to trade him and Ben Simmons was never going to play for the Sixers again so they had to trade him.

No idea what Sixers fans went over to the Nets board to troll, but I can assure you if they stopped they did because they got it out of their systems. It's not like Simmons has played yet and shut them up by dominating. We'll see what happens when he plays. And even then it really doesn't matter what he does because he was never playing here again.

Nets fans tries to make them feel better by going here convincing themselves they did not get fleeced.

You guys have got to realize we traded a guy who was not going to play for us or has been a liability to our team.

Ben was either a ZERO or a NEGATIVE, so even if we get OKEKE for Ben, we’re OK.

Harden-Embiid PnR.

Embiid is naturally a short roll guy then pulling up on mid range. He’s more like Blake Griffin than DeAndre Jordan.

Either Harden gets trapped off the screen or trapped when he drives to the basket. He creates 4v5 situations at will.

The problem is when he drives and the entire defense collapsed, he should not be so deep in the paint and trap himself without kickout options while he should have a lob option because grandpa isn’t as athletic anymore.

My god what disaster getting Harden…

The only thing stopping him from falling off a cliff completely is the refs bailing him out numerous times and him getting to the line.

This organisation gave away there chance of a championship with Embiid when they decided to get rid of Jimmy.

Worst part about Harden is his defense. 6's yet to find out when he's a direct target. Come playoffs, it'll get exposed and how Doc going to adjust is what we all going to watch. If some would think Zone D is a solution, better watch some tape, it's not. Have to have players who can switch.

Y'all need to pray Biid won't get himself into foul trouble. If that's the case, it's pretty much lay up fest, than Harden going to start barking at DJ. Seen some sample last night vs Orlando. DJ is unplayable when Harden on the floor. We had to sit him entire 2nd half of the season.

Ben will not make or break our season. He's a luxury piece that should strengthen our defense.

Covid mandate is what will make or break us. If Kyrie is part time player come playoffs, getting to second round will be huge achievement. If it's lifted, anything shorter than chip is disappointment.

Again, I never went to any other board to say anything about anyone, and I don't get why anyone would other than trolls. Who the hell cares what another team's fans say, it's so important you feel the need to 'retaliate'?

Both teams benefited from this trade - Ben was a net zero here and Harden wanted out. End of story. But because some idiots obsessed with Simmons feel a need to troll, you guys feel it's your 'responsibility' to do the same?

It's over. Enjoy the rest of the season and good luck.

This team better hope Harden is injured right now, because he looks like a shadow of his former self.

There's an easy way to control for that -- simply determine the percentage of high-impact games in which a player's individual performance was consistent with winning. That's your probability of his performing in a way consistent with winning in similar future games.

Ben is a luxury piece just as what Tobias Harri… i mean.. Matthise Thybule is to us. A 5th option on offense.

If you guys have Harden, you have a big 3 and a clear cut over everyone else. With Ben, I’m not even sure if the Nets is more talented than the Sixers. We got the league’s best ISO scorer, the league’s best post scorer and a couple of 18ppg scorers as 3rd and 4th options.

Once Doc Rivers realize that Thybulle and Tobi should stopped being paired together, we’ll be a lot better.

The uncommon hope was followed, naturally enough, by deep depression.
