We return to finish the first of the final three game of this home stand with some rest and reinforcements. We don't have our full complement of players so it's a good opportunity for next man up to step up. Playing the right way, executing our system, staying competitive throughout the whole game are our benchmarks for progress. Do these and we'll put ourselves in good standing.

So basically an entire 1-2-3 of players we play at PF are out. We'll be undersized here unless or until Pop plays the two bigs line-up. Likely that JRich gets the nod with the starters and Keldon does small ball 4 or Pop throws out another new starting five!

Yeah weird case with him. Strange vibes, too, like he's not sure where his career is headed. That thigh thing was good for one game then got worse. Not a lot of time for him to prove what he can do. JRich has meshed with the locker room well and endeared himself to the fans, but RL's a mystery in that he's not looking fully committed or immersed with us.

Ugh, we are going to have to outscore them to win just like most games because we defend soo poorly. And this team scores like crazy.

Just not a clean ball protection game - each time we get a stop or strip we seemingly TO it right back. Missed chances all over the place.

We're doing a decent job down low but just can't stop them at the perimeter. Have to either double or do a better job preventing the pass up top.

IDK, Langford is a pretty quiet guy from what I've seen. He looked great and smooth the other night. He certainty didn't look injured.

Quiet, sure. In the Pop celebration video, dude sat in his chair. Kind of outsider vibes but I hope I'm wrong. He re-tweaked that thigh thing in that game. He actually didn't return in the middle of that game so it lends to the legitimacy of actual injury rather than us holding him out.

Bigger body than I realized, physical, good defender, very smooth stroke even if accuracy from distance is WIP. I like him, just hope his shyness is just that rather than active lack of engagement.

1ST Q: SPURS 32

WOLVES 40

Well it was juuuuust within 1. And then they finished on a 7-0 run for a huge 1ST Q output. We put up enough points. 32 usually gets you a good positive result. But not when they hit 83.3% from 3 FFS.

They're driving into us AND pushing off and that has yet to be called. KAT has moved on almost every screen. I almost never talk about the opponent but these have been just part of almost every play. Stands out in a bad way. More about the refs than opponent. I guess if they do it almost every time then refs can't call everything.

Too many TOs with 5 so that's on us - weak, telegraphed passes, getting picked off dribbling, uuugh...

Clean it up, gents!

We don't run back on D, they pass full court behind all of our trotting players for an easy transition basket, and Pop timeout. I hope he rips into them.
