Knick are not going to intice a team from the back of the lottery to trade them a top 4. That’s a supreme pipe dream. In todays NBA no team is moving out those spots. Also Knicks aren’t aggressive, it’s not this front office style. They only try to make deals within the frame work of being frugal. Every time the demand was to rich for the Knicks they backed off and that was for proven players. They damn sure not doing for a draftee.
Minnesota traded up to 6 from 11 for Culver
Hawks traded up to 4 for Hunter with 2 1sts
Hawks traded from 5 to 3 for Luka
It hasn't happened the past couple of years, but there's definitely more precedent than you're letting on here.
wow smh. I really forgot about those

. But the reality is you proving my point... the difference in picks is MINIMA in most cases. a spot or two. Hawks went from 8 to 4 in a rare scenerio. Your talking about 6 spots currently and if the knicks do what they do best it could be a 8 spot jump. We all know anyone who would trade with the knicks in the draft that high up, would try to fleece us cause we NY, and we look desperate.
Me personally No team is trading a top 4 pick to the back of the lotto where we currently stand, that has those spots. They all thirsty for top talent.
to Me Its simply a waste in mental energy to even think about from our perspective. Every single year we dream of the dream scenario that is nothing based in realty. We do it with NBA stars and we do it with draft picks.
Add to the fact the Knicks have not shown they care about the draft that much... You have a better chance of wining the lottery then to think the knicks will trade the farm to move from the back of the draft into the top 4. When they wouldn't even do it for an established player.
