Nets are the 8th seed, on what planet is that a 'good' team?

On which position would have Mavs been, if Luka had missed 30 games?

This. Irving is really hot lately. And tonight, Kyrie shocks the whole league. Don't hold your breathe if your prime defender is Brunson. To me, if Brunson can't hold Irving under 15 and score 20 with 7+ assists, Brunson doesn't worth 20M. For 20M per, this player must be able to contribute on both end like Aaron Gordon or Clintz Capela. Some losing team might still want to overpay, though.

Since the trade, the Nets have the best point differential in the NBA when at least 1 of KD/Kyrie plays.

When BOTH play since the trade they have the best oRTG of all time, beating their own record last year

obviously both are a small sample. But the Nets have also beaten the bucks (just kyrie), Philly, Miami, Charlotte in that span. I don't think anyone seriously looking at it thinks they are an "8 seed". the team the nets have now are nothing like the team that collapsed to an 8 seed.

It comes down to availability. if Kyrie/KD play the nets are a top 4 teams who can beat anyone and maybe favorites.

That said, the nets have not won a back-to-back all year and i doubt they start now with it also being a back-to-back on the road after traveling. In the KD era the nets have a sub .300 win% on back to backs.

No Kyrie tonight. KD isnt going to get it done by himself on a back to back. if it was just Kyrie id say we win but with just KD i doubt it.

The Nets on the paper are the best team in the league. No question.

We have Luka so we can dream.

Kyrie just scored a career high 60 points and now he gets the day off because Brooklyn is playing at home.

Let's get this win tonight

Where the hell Bullock has gone? It is pathetic to see Bertans and Brown on the court with their zero offense and defense…….

Out for personal reasons. Rumor is that a close family member passed.

You probably meant 0 offense from Kleber and Green in 20 minutes?

Nets are acting as if no one is capable of hitting a shot but Luka, and Mavs are working hard to prove them right.

At least they can play some defense and rebound, although it is annoying to see they miss wide open 3pt especially Kleber
