And this team is missing Bullock and THJ still. If only we had one more competent big man I think we'd be an actual darkhorse contender.

That’s all they’re missing, a competent big.

Man, what a fantastic 4th Q. Mavs defense finally came alive and they actually managed to grab some rebounds. Spencer and Brunson were huge exactly when Mavs needed them and when Nets started double teaming Luka. Great win.

D is bad too, Nets are doing whatever they want. There's no reason to play Kleber that much.

I'll have to disagree on that one. He's been pretty good on KD all night really.

You mean as a part of double team?

He was the main defender half of the game, DFS the other except for a few possessions when Green took him.

Mavs were doubling KP nonstop.

Uhm yeah, that still means there's a primary defender  I also think you mean KD as KP is now in Washington :D

It's fine, don't give him credit, I don't care. I'm off to enjoy some sleep after a buzzer beating clutch win.

What a great ending! I would have been happy with the Mavs going 2-2 in their next 4 games and they are already 2-0.

But this game highlight once again why they need a big. You have to be able to somewhat protect the rim and get rebounds if you want to beat the best teams 4 times. You won't always be hot from 3 or the FT line.

It would take a miracle to beat Philly...

Thank god he’s in in Washington. :D

It’s difficult to give him credit, if the whole Kid strategy was not be beaten by KD.

I have to go to sleep as well. Good night.

Interesting to know that Luka is only 7th in the MVP voting. Behind guys like Morant, Derozan and Tatum.

Because people don’t really watch games or care much. Luka started slow and that was it.

What a game! Having 3 ball handlers really boosted this team.

KP was getting lit up by Jokic tonight.

I still believe Brunson can or should be sacrificed for a good 4 or 5.

I thought it was pretty cool the way Dinwiddie ran over and gave props to Nico and Finley after hitting the shot. You can see how appreciative he is for them bringing him to Dallas.

Not that worried about philly. Also a good team which fires up luka, and got a feeling our bench will just torch their bench.

Biggest issue I see is that mavs usually lose when i dont watch it live, and I havent decied if I will

Dinwiddie is now legitrmately our 2nd star. I believe he made a solid case for himself.

A minor offseason move of signing a big man (with the little money we have) should be done.

I wouldn't say Dinwiddie is a star but he's a very good player. He's exceeded my expectations for sure at least. Happy to have him on the team.
