I don't want college OT rules in the NFL but give each team a possession, in the playoffs only.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

They've changed to rules to favor the offense so much the past couple decades. I don't have a problem with that because I get it's entertainment and fans like scoring plus the player safety rules tend to favor the O.

Giving both teams a possession isn't some crazy game changing thing. Seems like an easy fix that would prevent some bitching.

I think the reason it's been more of an issue in the playoffs is those teams tend to have better QBs. Like I wouldn't even care if they just did away with OT for the regular season, ties don't bother me. But in the playoffs let's let both QBs get the ball. Bills did plenty to lose that playoff game but it was kind of a shame we didn't get to see Allen have another shot.

The NFL is an entertainment product, and purely from that standpoint, I don't know why they want this current format. Other than Chiefs fans and those who bet on them, what % of people who watched Chiefs/Bills wanted to see the Bills get a possession after the KC TD? I was indifferent, and left that game with a sour taste in my mouth.

Bingo. That trumps "the defense should get a stop!" IMO

Good for Z. Back cost him some money but good to see he still got a decent bag. Happy it was the cowboys and I don't have to hate him.

I know he's not perfect but if I'm the Colts I'd be after Baker. I think he can win with the right team around him.

I personally think coin flips should be granted greater importance in multibillion (trillion?) dollar professional sports leagues.

Been some of that going around this free agency. Or at least it feels like it.

And Allan Robinson to the Rams. Think they bring back OBJ too somehow?

More on Z backing away from the Ravens:

Za'Darius Smith backs out of Ravens deal, former Packers pass rusher returning to free agent market
Smith had initially agreed to a four-year deal with Baltimore

Za'Darius Smith is not returning to Baltimore, after all. The two-time Pro Bowl outside linebacker is not singing his deal with the Ravens and will instead re-enter free agency, as confirmed by CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora.

Smith had come to terms with Baltimore on four-year, $35 million deal that had a max value of $50 million. But instead of returning to Baltimore (where he broke into the NFL and played from 2015-18), he has instead chosen to continue his career elsewhere. In the process, Smith becomes arguably one of the best-available players on the open market. A two-time Pro Bowler with the Packers, the 29-year-old is looking to return to form after missing all but one game last year with a back injury. Green Bay released Smith on March 14, the first day of the NFL's legal tampering period.

Robinson could be sort of a sleeper move for LA. He may get to restart his career with a better QB and supporting cast
