I heard someone call Smith KD. where? don't get me wrong, I like the kid but passing on a guy who looks legit generational, regardless of his frame is nuts.

What exactly is generational about him? The shotblocking is nice, but at the end of the day bigs have to be able to guard on switches, and there's no telling whether he can actually do that or not. Also, because of his frame he's going to have to play PF for the foreseeable future, and if he can't defend in space at a position where you absolutely will need to be able to guard perimeter guys, yikes.

It's much easier to see how Jabari fits into the current NBA, especially with some of his shot creation skills.

Thinking about fitting into the current NBA all the while having the possibility of drafting someone who could change the game isn't forward thinking enough. he's a big who blocks shots, rebounds, can put the ball on the floor and shoots better from anywhere on the floor, better than anyone else in the draft. His shooting splits are 60/40/75; his TS% is .702. that doesn't sound generational to you?

That sounds like a great college player, but how does that translate to the next level if he can't play the position he's best at because he's not physically ready? I don't really care about TS% at the college level for a big either, or in general, people used Fultz TS% as a reason to draft him over Tatum. How you translate to the next level is really more important than anything else, and I don't see generational talent from Chet, he doesn't create that much of his own offense for him to be on that level.

Everybody knows the real argument should be Tari Eason vs Keegan Murray for us.

You're cursed, I've done it 6 times and we've ended up 1 and 3 in two of them.

at 11th where we are now, the odds of moving to 1-4 are around 3 percent for each spot which means you need a miracle

chet vs jabari, the knicks will pick jabari. i don't have any doubt. chet potentially has a higher ceiling but it's riskier and the knicks can't risk screwing up the pick if they somehow won the draft.

On another note. My Talk about Chet vs Jabari has nothing to do with the Knicks in reality to be honest. I like talking about about draft picks potential or what I like etc regardless if the Knicks can pick them or not. Chet vs Jabari is one of the better debates about who is no1 to me in recent years.

I wouldnt say either one is clear cut which makes the battle good. I dont see either one falling past 2. which shows how close they are in ranking.

Top 4 is 11.7%, I keep getting them top 4, maybe your 1999 Gateway PC infested with Limewire/Napster viruses is to blame :o

Jabari is the pick when we get 1, so we can trade him for Beal

agreed. I think the Knicks would be scared of him as well considering KP is still recent memory.
