I'm still standing by my Jimmy G to Indy prediction from a couple weeks back. I think Baker will end up in Seattle, and Watson will end up in Carolina.

So they publicly go after Watson. Then they say they want an adult at the QB spot. But that all fell through and now Baker obviously wants out and now they're saying no?

I'm not even a Baker fan but I can't blame Baker for wanting out and you couldn't have handled this any worse than what the Browns did.

OK, not much by NFL QB standards but Baker has already earned over $33 million in his career and he's due to get almost 19 million this upcoming season.

He may not get a 9-figure contract but no reason to feel sorry for him.

If he never earns another dime in the NFL, he still walks away a very rich man.

He wants more of course, not just money but he thinks he can be a winning NFL QB.

But his career stats show him to be around an average starter.

Now whoever drafted him #1 in his draft class, will that guy get another job?

Man Baker really misplayed his hand…not that he had any cards to play but from that lame post the other day to his temper tantrum yesterday…ouch.

He’ll be a good backup somewhere

Brows gave up a lot of assets. They're going to want some picks back not to mention get Baker's $19 million money off their payroll this year.

Yeah that trade may come back to haunt the 49ers.

I've already concluded Shanahan regime is not going to work out for the team but he and Lynch are under contract for several more years.

Watson:

Both teams also had pick swaps involving 4th/5th picks.

Seattle acquired the 9th overall pick. Houston acquired the 13th pick in this years draft.

According to the Jimmy Johnson trade chart:

Seattle gained 3303.5 through the Wilson trade. Houston gained 3368 by dealing Watson, but again - the Seahawks got three starting-caliber players
