Well Beckett is going to win.

But damn Halladay is getting raped by the Jays. He is probably pitching the best out of anyone now.

^^^ Yeah, he's pitched 8 or more inninngs in 7 strait starts and he hasn't gotten a win in any of them? If he was healthy for a whole year, he'd win it. Either him or Santana are the best pithcer in the AL if they both have a full season

If I had a vote, my ballot would look like this:

1. Sabathia
2. Beckett
3. Wang
4. Santana
5. Escobar

I think Kelvim Escobar might be having the quietest season for a pitcher in the history of the Earth.

Wang and Escobar over Lackey??

Here are Lackey's stats, because obviously nobody in this thread can find them:

And I'd vote Bedard before I vote for Santana.

The only 7 that should even be considered are:

CC Sabathia
Johan Santana
Fausto Carmona
Josh Beckett
John Lackey
Dan Haren
Erik Bedard

And thats the order I would vote them probably.

With the list you have big boy I think I would go with:

1. Sabathia
2. Beckett
3. Carmona
4. Lackey
5. Santana
6. Bedard
7. Haren

I think I would have went with Bedard had he not gotten hurt.

Why Carmona ahead of Lackey? Because of the .06 difference in BAA? Doesn't make sense to me.

Carmona is right there with him. Is there a reason I should pick Lackey just because he has a .05 difference in ERA?
