Yeah, the previous work wasn't much. Maybe in GB it was the right combination of surrounding players and Barry's defense scheme helped Douglas achieve more? Yeah, I like that!

Douglas was/is a gambler. It seemed like everything went his way last season. Whether that’s sustainable or the tables turn and he gets burned often, we’ll see. If he sustains last years success we are great at CB. And maybe Jaire gets the Adams treatment next year at this time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This mean Zadarius is coming back to GB?

I feel the same way. Don’t get me wrong, right now I’m glad they signed, but I hope it’s cheap and short based on how much they are going to pay Jaire.

Could they afford Z now?

With Jaire back on the field handling the opposing teams #1 - you could argue Douglas could be a tad better than last year

Think we just need another 3-4 DE honestly. Fletcher Cox or Akeim Hicks maybe?

The Raiders will be throwing away boatloads of cash on the back end of that deal. And without Rodgers, don't be surprised if the drop-off begins this year

Besides the whole drop off from Rodgers to another quarterback, they also had years of chemistry where there's been multiple post game interviews of them changing plays based on looks. Like even if raiders had their own Rodgers, you don't get that back that quickly.

He would likely cost more than Adams.

Fwiw the Packers did the right thing. Take the picks. His value will never be higher.

I'm not holding my breath for a high profile and expensive signing. Two schools of thought. Either cover well or rush well. I assume the Packers will try to strike a balance. Year 2 for Campbell and Douglass. Gary's first year starting. Jaire back in the new defense. Four picks in the top 50. Seems very promising to me.

Adams beasted with Hundley at QB. I'm sure he'll be able to adjust to Carr

Anyone have a reasonable guess what the current cap situation is for the Pack? I'm thinking Russ Ball will be going on a week long bender in Costa Rica soon, just to unwind.

They will click faster than most are saying. Carr and Adams played at the same college. I honestly think Adams will do great there, but that deal yikes. GB has too many holes to fill. Now we can draft a WR in the top 2 rounds and have flexibility to sign a Fletcher Cox or other stopper

Adams and Carr already know each other, and he has Waller/Wenfrow to take coverage away from him. That division will be full of shoot out games and I honestly have no clue who will be 1-4 but the Raiders made a good move. Packers just have to hit on one (or both) of those picks to make it worth it on our end.

I would consider trading down from 22 if we can pick up a future first.

Our first, three seconds, and a future first from a bad team (Jets, Jags...etc) would be ideal.

I like this idea. Then maybe a speed guy like Fuller.

Ju Ju is still super young, could be a good bounce back candidate.

Landry make a ton more sense now with Adams gone. I think he'd be good with Rodgers.

Jaire is more valuable than a 1st and 2nd to us right now though
