Game 71: Pistons (19-51) @ Cavs (40-30) Mar. 19 8:00 PM EST

Cavs on a home back-to-back. Watched their game last night against Denver. Cavs won in OT after a big 4th quarter comeback. Cavs will be tired tonight. Three guys played 40+ minutes - Garland, Mobley & Markkenen. All three had double doubles. Markkenen may have had the game of his career, 31 on 11-18 shooting, 6-12 from 3, including the game-winning 3. He also played center the entire game (v. Jokic) because both Allen and his backup are out. It's hard to imagine Cle having much gas in the tank tonight.

Line opened -10, is now -5.5.

At some point they should probably turn on the tank jets to end the season.

I'd prefer it happen after they play this game though. I think Mobley has ROY in the bag, and probably should when you consider the level he's played from game one. That said, I love it when Cade outplays Mobley and reminds people if the ROY is decided, then maybe it also doesn't matter that much.

I can't get on board with tanking. For what purpose? Maybe a slightly higher chance at pick? That would be nice but development and building a winning mentality is nicer.

Another game, another day of opposing teams isolating CoJo on switches. Mobley on him twice already.

Pair of offensive fouls to go along with the unforced TO. Gotta clean that stuff up. I don't like how this game started. We've also not really involved Bey yet, despite his recent success. Not really surprising I guess. :noway:

No need to tank IMO.

Outside the top 2 picks the Draft looks pretty even from 3 to 10 and will come down to individual workouts/interviews.

On the ROY award/race: Mobley and Barnes have the distinct advantage of playing with studs like Allen, Garland, Siakim & FVV.

Who does Cade have? Grant? 2nd year Bey? Can't compare their individual situations and stats.

Cannot wait until the Pistons don't have a midget at the second gaurd spot. Its the reason I hope Hayes plays well,, or the Pistons sign a bigger gaurd.

Those switches break the entire defense.

Hypothetically... what would happen if we didn't switch everything?? Asking for a friend.

It's not Joseph fault we shouldn't be switching everything. Nothing wrong with a drop back scheme.

So far so good, Cade and Bagley are commanding the tank.
