The only thing better than the Raptors beating other teams is doubters getting dunked on.

That being said, Suggs as a Raptor would be a different player than the one playing in Orlando; especially with Toronto's better development. The Magic have him primarily as a shooting guard, when he should really be the Point Guard with the ball in his hands. However, the Magic have Anthony at the Point. Watching him play a couple of games in Orlando, his defense had been solid, but he looks much better when he has the ball in his hands when Anthony is not on the court. He is 6 foot 3 (6 foot 5 in shoes), but his game does not translate well as a Shooting Guard. I think the Magic should deal Anthony in the off-season, since both guys do not fit well together on the court.

Yes he'd have been a good backcourt partner with Fred, and a 3 man backcourt with Gary n Fred. Would have been great insurance for Fred's injuries, and benefitted from playing with our more talented roster.

Of course we love Scottie now but Suggs woulda been ok too. And we still don't have that third guard.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

It wouldn’t have been okay. It would’ve been a disaster. Scottie has superstar potential while Suggs has been the most disappointing rookie in the top 8. It would’ve set this franchise back years. That’s not okay. Lol.

Suggs on the Raptors would've been night and day from him on the Magic. A guy like Cunningham shows well on a bad team but Suggs more subtle intangible skills are better on a talented winning team. Not saying as good as Barnes of course.

Yeah he would be better but it still would’ve been a disaster had we drafted him over Scottie.

"The gift that keeps on giving" has been the main theme of this season. So many bad takes and they have all aged like milk.

Return to Toronto Raptors
