Lol, that Wisconsin Football team with six NY6 games in the last 11 years? K. Yeah, definitely love finishing in the 8th seed.

But you prove my point. You are happy if you don’t compete for a championship. Your the type that roots for nfc north titles, eastern conference central titles, big ten titles with no championships. What’s the difference?

Had to work so I missed this amazing display of basketball. I will say every time I checked my phone I either saw “turnover” or “missed shot” on my gamecast. Tremendous.

Good luck to Johnny, I’d be very wary of of drafting him, feel like he’s fools gold.

Game sucked. Crowd try to will every shot in, Badgers just kept missing them. Refs were super uneven both ways. Sad, but once Chucky went down the season was essentially over anyway.

Who's fault is it that we have one capable PG on the roster and once he's out we're toast? Neath was the best guard we could get via transfer?

They had Bowman who was looking like he could provide something off the bench. He unfortunately is going through something and hasn't been available.

Chucky Bowman and Neath and Davison are capable enough.

They sucked today. It was a poor time to play their worst game of the season. They had no answers for the physicality of ISU's defense when their 3s wouldn't fall.

I gotta believe Johnny has fallen out of the lottery.

Came in limping losing to Nebraska and MI State. Squeaked by Colgate. All while playing **** home games in the tourney. I’m not surprised, in fact I thought they’d lose to Colgate. On Wisconsin starting to feel like Be Milwaukee. Worst part is I have to watch Juwan Howard’s ugly face next round. Gross.

Subtle epicness on that post chonesy. There are layers and layers. Your my onion.

1) Heat oven to 400ºF.
2) Combine the pork, lamb, beef, spinach, cheese, egg, basil, parsley, garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes, and 1/4 cup of the bread crumbs in a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. Use immediately or place in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
3) Peruse transfer portal for a ballhandler and Chris Vogt-type without Chris Vogt hands.
4) Place the remaining 1/4 cup of bread crumbs into a small bowl. Cover a scale with plastic wrap, weigh meatballs into 1 1/2-ounce (43-gram) portions, and place on a half-sheet pan. Using clean hands, shape the meatballs into rounds, roll in the breadcrumbs, and place in miniature muffin tin cups. Bake until golden and cooked through, about 20 minutes.

Losing 3 players for sure.

Johnny Davis
Vogt
Brad Davison

Likely losing 2-3 more players (likely from word from around the team)
Ilver (fit)
Carlson (one foot out of the door)
Bowman (mental health)

Adding
Essegian
Haertle

Going to be looking for 3-4 players in the transfer portal. It's going to be ugly. I think next year is going to be an ugly year unless they can find some scoring from freshman or the portal.

I hate the transfer portal and how things in the NCAA are now... it's absolutely garbage. It's hard to build a program now and develop kids into men.. and into good teams which play hard and have long term chemistry with one another.

Is there any reason to believe this team will be able to improve offensively next season?

Instant gratification society smh, but its natural progression more or less. The shapely coed of yesteryear is the Instant Gram model of today will be the sex robot of tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how Gard acclimates.

1. we said that this time last year, sometimes guys make leaps.

2. Putting a lot of stock in a single freshman to be good. Putting a lot of stock into the transfer portal to come up aces.

3. Chucky Hepburn

Frankly, Gard is going to need to start learning to recruit better... or just be better at targeting players that fit their system and accentuate the 4 year model and team building versus the nonsense of the portal. As a recruiter and a program head.. they need to pick an avenue. You either become another mercenary camp of a school.. OR you make it clear to kids coming to your program that you WILL stick with them for 4 years and you wont be adding transfers on a whim to take their time... You need to pick a direction and commit to it.

I say they should go the program route. Flame everyone that is using the portal to team build and concentrate on program building.

It's like the team basically blew its wad in that game against Purdue and lost its mojo afterwards.

I can only think of 4-5 threes that were bad shots out of the flow. The rest were open looks and we were air balling them. Those two corner threes that Jordan Davis missed in the late second half both looked good. Had he made one of them, I think we win. **** happens.

ISU wasn’t any better. They basically relied on some Minnesota cast off who was awful in the big ten to have the game of his life. That’s not exactly a winning formula, but sometimes things just happen.

After being picked 10th in the Big Ten, this entire season was an unexpected gift. Too bad we stunk up the place losing 3 of our last 4 games.
