Trent had possession of the ball when Harden touched it. If you overturn it, take the foul away from Harden but then give the Raps the ball back. That's something they need to look at in the offseason.

Other thing I thinkthey need to revamp is the intentional fouls to stop a fast break. Often one team will have a slight advantage and they'll still foul, Raps had a possession in the 4th where the receiver was way ahead of the ball and the rest of the D. Guaranteed 2 points but it's still just a common foul

Harden is the biggest choker I've ever seen.

Never had faith in him winning anything before and certainly don't have it moving forward.

Maybe thats what it was. Just a one month experiment to see if the ratings would change or not?

Maybe there's a correlation between ratings and the league telling refs what to enforce?

Did the ratings take a hit when stars weren't getting calls flailing around left and right?

Or maybe they thought that the ratings would take a hit if this continued.

Maybe i've been playing detective games for too long and im full of crap.

Also dont know if i used the word correlation in the right way. Not from the US.

Because the NBA's whole marketing is built around propping up these fake stars.

Scottie Barnes cost me the fantasy season with that 6/21 shooting. Sheesh. Turrible.

GTJ got a steal. That was one thing I noticed. Also he kicked Harden while driving for a no call. Tobias literally didn't register as a player on the court.

It was close, but Harris takes this in what was otherwise a closely contested matchup.

I'll be biased and agree with you, gtj got me enough points (just 2 points above my opponent) to win me in my fantasy league.

Credit goes to Precious Achiuwa. Dude has been BALLING since all star weekend.

He's been anchoring our defense lately and literally guarding 1-5. I think dude may have the quickest feet of any 5 in the NBA.

He's really justified the Lowry trade. Past 13 games he's been averaging 13/7 off the bench (24.7 MPG, 19/10 PER 36) with 44% shooting from 3.

I think a lot of fans, including some of the Raptors fans even, under-estimate the coaching of Nick nurse.

The defensive strategy to swarm and rotate is like no other, and is a Nurse system. We had this 2 years ago with Marc and Serge, and now we’re somehow back to it.

Except with a bunch of young and athletic dudes with long hands.

Instead of making shots and spacing , we just out rebound guys.

A great passing team can rip us apart, or a team with multiple all star scorers who are great at ISO. I think Embiid / Harden though, reply so much on free throws that it’s tough hit the Raptors weakness.

It’s hard for me to believe that watching a game full of free throw shooting resulting from touch fouls is more entertaining than what we were seeing earlier in the season or what we’re going to see once the playoffs start.

I never understood why there needs to be such a pronounced difference in the way a regular season and playoff game is officiated.

I know I'm late on this but I haven't seen anyone shut down Jokic this year like Robert Williams did last night. He should get some DPOY year love.

LOL @ shutting down a top three player in the middle of his prime for a year. You deserved to get called out on that and to double down on that opinion because Denver lost to two current playoff teams, you deserve to get called out on it once again. Wow, what an....interesting? Take.

Natalie Sago. She is hands down the worst official in the NBA.

What a poorly officiated game that was. Rather than seeing the players decide what was a fun and competitive contest they called two ridiculous fouls in the final seconds and completely ruined it. Yuck.

Not sure what was going on with the first call, but I'm thinking the second (and final) call on Looney was a make-up call for the first one? But yeah, I don't usually complain about officiating, and that game was handled very poorly by the refs.

No need to shut a player down in order to tank
