What is also reprehensible is the fact that Watson’s signing bonus is a reported $45 million, while his first-year salary is a relatively puny $1.035 million, which becomes significant if he gets suspended, as is widely expected. The suspension and resulting fine would come out of his salary only. Say the NFL bans him for six games. The fine would be $345,000, which is seven-tenths of 1 percent of his 2022 compensation.

Colts sniffing around Ryan and Mayfield. Most likely end up with Ryan. Not that the Falcons were contenders but the NFC continues to weaken

The Watson thing is pretty gross. I hope it blows up in Clevelands face.

I actually thought about this the other day. Makes total sense with Mike Smith there now. Won't be shocked if he's a Viking by days end.

They would need to do a cap move to make it happen, I think. As it stands they barely have enough room to sign their rookie class. It's possible he's Hunter's replacement.

Falcons take their cap hit this year, tank and get a juicy pick next year with a good QB class. I suppose they could instead go after Baker or Jimmy G

I don’t get that trade from the Colts perspective. I would have rather rolled with Wentz or trade Wentz and then suck to get a good qb next year

So is it down to just Seattle and Carolina for QBs with Baker and Jimmy available?

Pittsburgh and Atlanta probably going to draft a QB since they have bridge Qbs now.
