I'd say their reason for betting better is both.

Mobley is good and they are benefitting from the subtraction of Sexton. I was pushing for Sexton in the offseason but I'm against it now. And the Knicks would be the ones paying him his big money. Pass.

Mobley is good and they are benefitting from the subtraction of Sexton. I was pushing for Sexton in the offseason but I'm against it now. And the Knicks would be the ones paying him his big money. Pass.

You could make the case that he won’t make 20M/Year now that he hasn’t been able to play this season. We could potentially get him on a buy low prove it deal. If he performs again and he contributes to us actually playing well I don’t see why he shouldn’t get paid then.

lol ...i would over pay a little for him. A as starter dude is gonna give you ~17pts and 7Asts on high efficiency and he has improved every season. We could do way worse.
