Trying to make this about Grant vs. Bagley when we have zero shooters on the floor is kinda silly. We all acknowledge you can't play Stewart, Bagley & Hayes together. That's true whether Grant is on the floor or not. You can put Cade & Grant out there with them and it's still a disaster.

The Pistons need a star. Someone who can make a play for himself. Other than Cade they don't really have that on the team

Rockets are threatening to actually win a game tonight. Let's go Rockets. Make this turd of a game mean something.

at this point that honestly has to be part of the reason. he put in good effort defensively earlier in the year and it's slowly gotten a bit worse with his increased offensive role but the last few games have been borderline egregious.

plus his body language in general has been a bit off. i'm sure he isn't thrilled about all the tank moves and isn't really down with the facade that we're trying to win games when we're trotting out borderline G league lineups.

Yeah, the guy is exerting a tremendous amount of energy at the offensive end of the floor. Kinda hard to expect him to give that same effort at the defensive end when we're rolling out Pickett, Lee & Garza and playing Hayes starter minutes. That's... a lot.

I wish he'd give a bit more, but it's definitely understandable if he's physically & emotionally drained. I don't like it, but not going to make a big deal out it or hold it against him given the circumstance.

Missed this one. Kind of shocked they lost considering that everybody of note is injured for the Blazers. That's a stealth tank loss if I've ever seen one.

Nothing to play for, the finish line of the season is near and tanking team players tend to lose motivation more and more, and it's been a rough season for him in terms of injuries/sickness so not surprising that the energy level has dipped. Kind of amazing how well he's played all those things considered.

Guess if there were any questions about us tanking down the stretch, this game answers them. No grant, cojo, olynyk or mcgruder. Pickett was actually the oldest guy out there and he's a rookie.

Which is why it's funny listening to morons talking about how Gores, Weaver and Casey are trying to win every game, i.e. making stuff up in order to have something to criticize.
