KG won't have none of this nonsense if he was still on the team lol. KG was all about food metaphors though haha.

Love Grant but I don't agree with some of his comparisons though. Smart should be Wolverine, while Pritchard is Hawkeye. And what's his basis for comparing himself to Spiderman???

I agree that Al as Captain America, Jaylen as Black Panther, and Rob as Thor (for bringing the thunder with his dunks) are simply perfect. Not sure about Tatum as Vision though, but it fits.

All in all, Grant's a big geek lol

Ya I'm not a fan of vision can we give Tatum Iron Man instead. Iron Man is way cooler and it is fitting considering how much Tatum plays.

Anyways big props to Grant from going from cant williams to batman. Big upgrade

Still not too sure about Tatum as Iron Man, but it's better I guess.

Also, Rob should be Doctor Strange. I mean, how could we miss this for the Time Lord?

Ya Doctor Strange does make perfect sense for Time Lord. And if Thor is available I'm sliding Tatum over to Thor who has by far the best movies in the Marvel universe. That last Thor movie w/ the goddess of death is siiiiick.

If Grant doesn't get the 50-40-90 mark this season, it is a failure.. just do it!!!

Sadly even if he technically reaches those thresholds, he won't qualify and make the actual 50-40-90 club w/ Nash, KD, Bird, etc. Not enough volume for FTs and FGs made.

Rookie year I liked Grant. He earned Brad's trust early, and was able to find ways to contribute here and there. Sophomore year I was down on Grant. He wasn't good. His stats were slightly better, but it was such a small improvement....But as they say, sometimes it takes a couple of years for players to "figure it out", and Grant has certainly figured it out this season. His shooting numbers are off the charts and it hasn't exactly been a small sample size....Defensively he gets after it....his teammates love him. I'm starting to even think he could be the starting 4 in a year or two. At the very least he's solidifying himself in the rotation of what has become an awesome team.
Kudos to Grant for working his tail off, getting in shape, and obviously improving all around.

Is Grant too undersized to be Al's successor next to Rob? I can see a long term core of Smart-JB-JT-Grant-Rob with White, PP, and Theis off the bench. If Nesmith pans out that's really all you're missing - a long, athletic 3&D bench wing.

Each team’s most underrated player. Start around 7:40 for Celtics discussion. Mostly Grant, some Rob Williams talk.

When Boston first drafted him, I was kind of Meh. Then after 2 seasons rotating with Semi and shooting like a Burger on a dollar menu, I was almost at Hate level.. Remember many people calling him "Can't Williams". What a turnround. Credit losing Semi?? Getting in better shape??? learning not to rush his shot?? Continued steady playing time??? All the above???

Whatever.

He is turning out to be a very effective "Glue player" that every team needs. On and Off the court.

God bless you Batman err Grant.. "You are the Hero we all deserve". (or whatever that expresion is)

Nice. Grant got so good Parl was forced to unlock his thread. Biggest compliment an NBA player can get. Even bigger than the actual MIP or 6MotY award.

he came about as close as you can possibly come to it.

Worth noting that you look at the other guys who had a 50-40-90 season and most of them aren't so good defensively.

I don't think anyone has ever had a 50-40-90 season and made all defense in the same season. This year Grant came probably as close as anyone ever to having a 50-40-90 season and making all defense.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)
