Both still need new contracts though, no?

Your second ILB plays such a low % of snaps that this would be a luxury where the money would be better spent elsewhere. Barnes is fine in that role.

Sure but the Chiefs still have the ability to just have him play out the year on his current deal unless he's willing to sit out much like we did with Adams last year. That does give some leverage

Is that any different than Adams playing on the tag or sitting out? I guess that's the part where I'm confused.

Yea, I think there's a fundamental difference of leverage between Hill and Adams. I think it's reasonable to expect the Chiefs will get more.

Who knows if Hill is willing to sit out?

Hill is more of a field tilter as well. That speed puts fear into defenses as great as Adams is he is not an over the top threat. Hill is younger too.

Very curious to see how Mahommes does without elite speed everywhere on the field as I never have thought of him as a precision QB. Having said this they will probably trade for DK Metcalf or something.

Hill is younger and figures to age better with his next contract, but he's also a piece of **** human being, so....

I was thinking about this exact thing the other day. WRs are getting paid like a premium position but there's tons of depth with the position.

I think Hill is a completely different monster, even apart from Adams. He's a singular kind of talent and weapon.

I'm just glad he isn't going to an NFC team.

Jags really f***ed themselves giving Kirk that huge deal.

Could have easily acquired Hill and gave Lawrence a true #1 to develop with. I get that he is a P.O.S. but Hill is a game changer.

Would be funny if the Packers took the picks they got for Davante and offered the same deal to Hill that they offered to Davante. Won't happen, but it would be hilarious. I think KC still reaches a deal with him but if not he ends up in Dallas.

Report is "KC wants the exact same deal GB got for Adams."

If I have a young QB and the money to spend (i.e. Chicago) I am getting him immediately.

He's reportedly choosing between NYJ and MIA. They have the combination of picks that KC would want and location Hill prefers.

Jets have high picks, 4 and 10
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It's been that way for a while. Also it's kind of give n take. The worse your QB the more valuable the WR is versus the better the QB the less valuable the WR is.

A top flight WR is indeed a great thing to have It's just the price point tends to get pumped up to point it doesn't match the impact

Chicago, Miami, NYJ, Jacksonville or really any young team with their "QB of the future" in place makes a lot of sense to help the QBs grow

I think Jax would have been the #1 spot if they didn't throw such stupid money at Kirk
