I know there are a lot of WRs ranked high in this year's draft but I feel like there are gonna be a lot of trades up for specific ones. I think Jameson Williams would have went in the top 5 before the injury and if we can get him at 22 great, but I have no problem moving up into that 15 spot or so if need be to nab him.

If we don't take a WR at 22, KC will trade in front of us at 28 so I hope we are prepared.

If we pick Jameson, you have to think we'll pick up a 2nd WR in the first 5 picks to fill void until he is ready to play.

How would we pay Hill? Seems like the exact same predicament we had with Davante except we've committed a ton more money since then.

I don't buy that. I think his camp is trying to put this out there so he doesn't slip.

In fact, I wouldn't even risk that if I drafted him. Have him come out no sooner than mid-season imo.

I don't care about who can help us in week 1-8, I care about who is the best WR in this draft for the next 5+ years and I am 99.9% confident it's him. But yeah, if you can draft him at 22 (or trading up a few spots) and draft someone like Olave or Dotson at 28 then do it...fine with me.

I'd see if Philly want to trade back from #16 for our #23 and a 3rd rounder, maybe throw in a 2023 4th rounder too if that's what it took.

Moving to 16 you jump 3-4 teams who are WR hungry and you should have your pick of the litter.

Edit: Conversely I wouldn't mind if the Packers then traded back from 28 if one of the the top tackles doesnt fall to them. There's alot of 2nd round talent at tackle, WR (if they want to double dip) and even TE if they want to target one of the top 2 guys.

Based on the trade value chart (I know not everyone goes by this, but it is a good rule of thumb):

We would have to trade pick 22, and our own 2nd round pick for pick 16 with a 2023 4th round pick (or current 5th rounder).

-Or you could do our 1st with the Raiders 2nd and still have pick #22

I'm still salty we didn't get a comp 3rd for Linsley. Would be a great chip to have.

The draft capital in the Hill trade and the Adams trade are like exactly the same.

Present value for Adams: 1150

Present value for Hill: 1072 + future 4th and 6th to make up the difference

Exactly....so people can stop saying we got robbed which was just weird to begin with.

One thing that most overlook, Adams has suffered a number of concussions. I believe he is one concussion away from retirement. Hopefully, we never find out.
