Not as random as Chris Duhon holding the most assists in a game but still pretty wild.
Duhon also with the Knicks record for most drunken white sorority chicks banged by a Knick.
Some might assume it was David Lee, but that was Duhon's wheelhouse.

What's the Knicks offer for Zion that still leaves something of a team left over?
Let's assume RJ and Cam not in the trade because of marketing etc.
Is there an extension and trade possible so more players go back to the Pelicans?
Ok, I'm asking so Randle can be sent out.
Randle, IQ or Grimes, Obi (sad thoughts after a good night), Knicks 2022 pick, Mavs 2023 pick, rights to Jockitchbitus?
Thibs would ruin Zion’s career

He did it last game too. Why don't we do it more
Because Thibs is a moron and also because Randle, for all the all around skills he brings as a PF, I think has trouble playing outside of his inner parameters.
It's one of the arguments, along with his ego, why it might be best to move Randle even if he's technically the most talented Knick.
Agree strongly with this post. Particularly the first five words. Also the rest of it is pretty reasonable as well. But .. just as a thought experiment .. why not think about using your players to make the most of them, as a coach? Just an idea.
It's an issue for Thibs and why someone suggested at least one of them should go, since he won't use Randle in his best way.
I think Thibs is a moron, but I think Randle is also pretty allergic to change.
Probably best if both go.
Johnny Bryant promoted to head coach
Mitch S&T'd for Brunson
Randle and picks etc for Zion.
All the rumors into one place.
Brunson/Rose
RJ/Grimes
Cam/Fournier
Zion/MLE vet
Sims/Taj
40 somewhat exciting wins

I have Thibs being jettisoned for Johnny Bryant, who in my mind I have as the next great young coach, even though it's possible he might completely suck.
At least he's not Thibs.

That drive by RJ at the end was really good. He missed. But was under control and maybe bumped. We have another guy who is strong and doesn't flop so no whistles ... plus of course he's a Knick so triple problem for him.

Knicks have to do their due diligence on precisely why he has a conditioning problem. We cannot have a repeat of the Eddy Curry scenario. If Zion is doing this to get out of NO, that's one thing. But if he lacks the mental discipline to take care of his body...stay away.

The Knicks haven’t won a chip in 39 years and to be quiet frank, we might not win one for another 10. Zion changes that perception the moment he puts on that New York uniform.

Fournier is by no means a problem. He's been being used badly - as I pointed out with stats about 10 weeks ago - and even so is providing the only grown-up but not over-the-hill play on the team. Obviously his defence is, was and always will be crap, but everyone always knew that. You take the -s with the +s if you have him on the roster.
Even though Burks is a SG who can fill in at PG, and Fournier is a SG who can see some time at SF, I still stand by trade one, and really, it should be Burks.
Knicks should trade or draft a point, which makes Burks expendable and get Fournier into a 6th man role where he gets 28-30 minutes a game.
And ... we're back to the Brunson trade. With the double Sign-and-trade with Mitch and then a boat load of salary needs to be added on each side under the CBA .. so it looks something like:
Brunson, Bertans, Burke for Robinson, Burks, Reddish, Kemba and Mavs 2023 pick. Knicks could ask for Dwight Powell and two of Frank, Boban and Chriss instead of Bertans, but that means giving up more draft picks.

Any zion trade begins with rj barrett and continues with whatever other youngsters that the pelicans can convince the knicks to trade. It likely ends with 3 first round picks and some swaps

solid 3&D joke
I'm actually serious.
I think he's already a good 3 point shooter, but he'll get better and his 3 point volume goes up and then he breaks the record. And his footwork gets even better and the floater/bunny gets better. Add it all up and RJ averages 25 ppg in 2 years.

Makes no sense whatsoever to have a team with Randle and Zion. Randle has to be going out in that trade.
Knicks have to treat Zion as damaged goods - which is what he is until otherwise proven.

I don't know. It'll be exciting for sure. The most I will include in a trade is Randle + Mitch + 2 FRP (this year and 2024, Keep all 2023 picks). Keep the youth for insurance.
