I looked but didn't want to commit another $60 per game to move to lower level and put more $ risk on myself. I essentially used my ticket exchange to sit in lower level in games I went to this year and broke even selling off the rest. Plus I like my uppers and am cool with them in playoffs thus stayed put.

I was also tempted to snag the 2 seats next to mine, but some of the people I go with only want lowers. So skipped for now

you broke even?? nice. sales were going great for me up until omnicron hit around new years, and then from jan up until like a week ago it felt like prices were in the tank. not including games that i went to, i lost around 500 this year.

Regular season i was $75 in hole technically when I took total paid minus sales, and then bumped that # up against value of tickets I used. I guess an argument could be made that tickets I used could have been had at cheaper rate on secondary market, but I'm not looking that deep into it. I figure that balances with some of the benefits I get. If I would've sold opening night, I would've been ahead too.

My biggest hit was just having to return more games for a loss than I was expecting. So I used alot from ticket exchange, but I ate about 4-5 games due to exchange rate by Bucks.

In the games I sold, my average was above my face value. But it was driven up by marquee games I sold (Suns, Nets in Feb, Christmas Day, Warriors).

I stayed in for next year so we'll see how that goes. My price stayed the same so as long as I'm getting at or above value, I'm good; especially if playoffs are value too.

Meter parking stops after 6pm pretty much everywhere downtown.
And usually no need to pay on weekends either.

That should work perfect. I can pay meter through 6pm and be good, if find a spot i like.

Heard it was pretty bad in line waiting to get in and get the ring. Assuming pushing, skipping and all that. Anyone experience that and what's the ring like?

I have a buddy at the game. He said the lines formed early and it was miserable in the rain. But he didn't say anything about it being unruly.

It was a disaster. It got a little unruly but they gave out vouchers, i guess, but many didn't get them - like myself- thus no ring. There were alot of livid people.

So they gave out 10,000 and vouchers to the rest? Or they said they had 10,000 but didn't?

Classic Bucks disorganization. We were in doors. JOHNSON Controls entrance, at 6pm which was a cluster in itself but we scanned tickets and went up escalators...apparently there were vouchers being handed out to get the ring (which we had no idea of). We went up escalators thinking the ring was gonna be in that hall, nothing. We got in concourse and another massive line awaited to get ring. That line quickly ran out and they told us to go to sec 103 where another long line awaited, but the usher told us if had no vouchers we were screwed. We were in the door at 6pm so its not like we were late. One dude said he waited in line 3 hours, dropped 20K on season tickets,, wasn't handed a voucher either, and was **** out of luck. Its a cheap ass ring but principal.

Unreal. Why not just hand them out as you enter? That's how giveaways used to be done. Your ticket gets scanned someone hands you the item. It's not rocket science.

yeah, the marquee games really saved it for me from being a complete disaster. god i hope the Bulls fans still believe in their team next year! And yeah, selling that Nets game would have cut my losses to about 250 but i ended up gifting it to my father in law and his brother. only going up about 5 bucks per ticket next year so i'm in too. if we can get back to a normal NBA season where the stars aren't dropping like flies, i think we'll both be in good shape.

I don't understand why they limit it to 10k. Is it to get people in early? Is it to save $50k (assume rings are less than $8 if they will sell them for $20).

If either of you those are your goals say anyone who gets in by 630 automatically gets one, make sure it is only one per person upon entry, have happy hour and food specials like half price beers, profit. That way expectation is more clearly set and you won't have more than 10k in before 630. People will have more drinks insides and no one comes away disappointed.

I got a late start and I think got in around 645. Went through bmo when they said they were out. Walked to the hand out table and was handed one without a voucher. Don't feel guilt since I'm a season ticket holder dropping money on every game.

I remember big events back in the day where they gave out limited beanie babies but it was much more controlled. You had to enter main gate, once you received a large/visible/numbered voucher and sent to a separate area where there were long winding queues where they were handed out one by one via voucher. Annoying it was limited to 5k or whatever but it felt fair. Here they used the normal giveaway tables with no lines and five people at the table just trying to give the rings out as quickly as possible. Zero controls or attempt at fairness at a giveaway marketed as a valuable and limited giveaway. It's almost to a point where you wonder if there is false advertisement as the first 10k aren't rewarded and honestly there have been other promotions when they ran out early and there was no way 60% of the stadium made it in making you think they ordered 10k and hold out a ton for VIPs

while i agree and have wondered about the 10k thing myself, situations like this make me happy that i have almost zero interest in collectables. i get it, but then again i dont. 99% of the time its a very cheaply made product where half its value is being able to show it off as part of your man cave or whatever while the other half is just the knowledge that you have something that a significant percentage of fans do not. Combined, purely extrinsic value and i have to go subject myself to a frantic situation where im livid if i dont get one?

i know, im fun at parties

This organization is clueless sometimes. For opening night the ring ceremony was scheduled to start at 5:45. But the doors didn't open until 5. I really wanted to see this so I got in line around 4. By the time I got through security and to my seat it was about 5:35. So I made it. But many people did not. Which is a shame because it was great. Just open the building early enough so people aren't sweating it. And sell a lot of stuff with fans inside early.

Ended up parking on Juneau St up by MKE Brewimg. Said 2 hour parking up to 6pm, so I assume was free after. I didn't have a ticket. Not sure if I was lucky or was fine, haha. It worked well though as was back on 43 off Highland fairly quickly too.

Every season ticket holder for the 2020/2021 season should have been sent a ring in the mail. The business side of the Bucks organization is clueless.

Canceling my season tickets in the middle of the playoffs last year after my ticket rep told me she didn't have time to get me a detailed billing breakdown was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I got to see my Bucks win it all live, and I went out on top. Screw these owners, their spoiled rotten children, and Peter Fagan.

Their customer billing interface is one of the worst I have ever seen. It has always been right but there is no way to go into my account to see what has been invoice, paid and credited. That would be fine if you just paid once, but they insist on collecting money 10 months in advance before they finalize your number of seats, locations or even playoff tickets that are 2 months away.
