They are average and have been all year. Not sure what's so surprising.

We were missing several players but yes, hat's off to the Pistons. They seem to get up to play us for some reason.

Hawks season has been missing a ton of games from injuries and covid. When the team is actually healthy it projects to a 50-55 win club which is pretty accurate for how good they are versus how good the East is.

there have been more teams injured this year.

exceeded expectations. or everyone else just playing better or at their expected levels, to no fault of the Hawks.

They forgot about the other end of the basketball court, the unglamorous end that requires effort rather than talent.

Hawks would be better if Trae would defend his position?

His ppg is cool and all, but this isn't the 90's.

Another statement win by the Hawks. Completely dominated the Warriors while missing both John Collins AND Bogi. GSW was missing Steph but we're out two starters to their one.

The best guard in the NBA Trae Young had an amazing game. 33 points/15 assists/2 steals on sizzling shooting numbers.

Now if we can stop with statement losses we might get somewhere with what little time is left on the season.

Steph is worth probably 3 Bogdanovics and John Collins combined lol

No he isn't. Let's be real here. Collins is the Hawks 2nd best player and Bogi is a starter/top 6th man in a league quality player. That's huge to not have on your team. Let's don't act like the Hawks weren't playing at a handicap tonight. Also Gallo got hurt too in this game.

Fun Trae fact: He leads the NBA with 18 30 point/10 assist games. Next guy only has seven. Trae is easily the best guard in the NBA.

He is not. Collins is an All Star level PF and Bogi is a good player as well. GSW still had how many All Stars healthy in that game tonight? Three All Stars. And they still got pounded. That's not being a homer. That's being real. We had two guys out before the game and lost Gallo IN THE GAME and still won.

So no, injuries are not something to be used to excuse this loss.

16/8 With no defense are all star numbers now?

Bogdanovic is a nice 6th man. Steph is first team all nba level. Foh

Might want to check those numbers again. Collins plays defense. He also is an incredibly efficient player on BOTH ends of the court. Bogi plays starter minutes. It is only because Nate is an idiot that he comes off the bench so Kevin can justify his extension to start.

Steph hasn't been first team all nba level in a few years now.

And I notice you didn't disagree with my actual point. Foh. Three All Stars for GSW healthy and they STILL got their heads beaten in by the "one" All Star Hawks missing three players lol. Yeah, foh with that noise.

You can google John collins numbers, it says 16/8 lmao.

I’m glad that you beat a team with fake all star Wiggins, Klay with 1 leg, and Draymond Green coming off an injury. Keep beating the drum that the 500 Hawks would be world beaters if Bogdanovic were healthy. At the end of the day, the Hawks are a mediocre franchise and fell back to earth. Trae ain’t even making the All nba team. Zero noise for him at all.

Look at his advanced metrics. Don't be dense. You knew exactly what I meant.

I am glad we beat a team with a very good record that had three healthy All Stars in the game. You do realize the Hawks record accounting for injuries and covid projects to a 51-55 win team in the much tougher Eastern Conference. That's not mediocre. They have beaten every good team this season even with injuries and covid. They unfortunately also lose to all the bad teams in the NBA which is, I admit, infuriating.

Trae should be first team All NBA this year. His numbers are insane and his value on the court is elite. We'll see if the voters actually paid attention or not.

Take it to the Tnt or PC Board and ask if users would rather have Steph or Collins + Bogdanovic. The Hawks future wouldn’t be so bleak if they were actually worth anything, because Schlenk would actually trade them for a star instead of it being a pipe dream on HawkSquawk.

Stop acting like the Hawks are the only injured team in the league. It’s convenient that you ignored the post above that places the Hawks in the bottom 1/3 to half in terms of quality minutes lost to injuries.

Warriors have been total trash since the All Star Break and might have the worst record of any playoff team in that span. For a while they literally had the worst record in the NBA after the ASG.
