I guess they don't include February as a month because of the Allstar game and Doncic had 24.4/9.4.7.4 in 8 games? Talk about cherry picking stats.
If you are going to start ignoring months why not just go by 11 games stretch. MCW did it, Steve Francis did it. Tyreke Evans barely missed the mark by both 11 game stretch and by "month"
Lol, yeah dont anyone post any monthly good run stats for your rookie. Pretty sure you can go back the last 4 months together and its still gonna be impressive and up there for a rookie.
His stats this month are impressive. But there is a difference between just posting the stat vs making a claim that only MJ did it which is misleading and is actually wrong.
You go back 4 months on Cade and you get negative in WS, OBPM,DBPM, and 0.2 VORP. He finally just passed 50% TS.
I still think Mobley and Barnes should be ahead in ROY. Cade is barely ahead in counting stats but gets destroyed in advanced stats.
With that being said Pre-draft I had
Mobley>>Cade>>>>>>Green>>>>>>>>>>Rest (I did not like Suggs)
Now
Mobley>=Cade>Barnes=Green
I would still take Mobley first because you are likely to get at least a 2/3 option offensively and a defensive anchor.
Cade is the one with the best chance to be a primary creator and lead ball handler on a contender. If he doesn't reach that level I prefer Mobley or Barnes as a 2/3 option, not necessarily because I think Cade can't work off-ball, I just think Barnes and Mobley can have bigger impact in that role.
I would probably have Barnes third over green in the future only because I think he is more easily portable and fits into any system and almost any position.
But honestly they are all close that it can easily depend on team needs in the future
