I loved her. My favorite tennis player ever male or female.

My brother-in-law claims he is related it to her (I actually think he is). He is actually Dutch, but he's from a town right across the border from where she's from. He claims they're like 4th cousins.

North Macedonia eliminates Italy from going to the World Cup. Italy misses it’s second World Cup in a row, wow.

It's nearly impossible now for the USMNT to not qualify for the world cup. Berhalter still isn't the answer, but I'm glad they will be playing in Qatar.

For multiple reasons, don't ever eat at the Orlando International Airport food court.

I could only imagine.

Mentioned this previously, but if you travel multiple times a year you should get a premium credit card that has lounge access. The sign-up bonus will typically make the AF worth it for 2 years and you can always call and ask for a retention bonus to reduce the annual fee. Airport travel is a lot better if you can go to a private room with free drinks.

Worst/most annoying travel day of my life involved an 8 hour delay in that god forsaken airport.

Ahh, I did close to 8 hours once, in Newark. Had to go outside the terminal and pee in a trailer. Good times!

Not at the food court, at one of the restaurants, but I had the best burger of my life at that airport. I'm sure it was context-dependent. Also the restaurant is no longer there, or I might have dreamt it.

Orlando delay was just the beginning. My idiot company travel department had me fly from Orlando to Philly then back to Phoenix. 8 hour delay in Orlando, long flight to Philly while missing my original connection, then 5 hour flight from Philadelphia to Phoenix. It was like a 20 hour travel day all while hung over because we went out once the work meetings were done. Miserable

I'm sure the restaurants are better, and I even think I ate at one once with no issue.

But yesterday I decided I wanted to eat before the security check, which restricted me to the food court. Mistake.

La Guardia is the worst airport I've been in. I agree, it's worth it to get lounge access if you travel enough. I don't though.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Going to St Croix to get out of dodge in a week or so.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Spent last Monday traveling from Puerto Vallarta (almost missed the flight) to Minneapolis, 4 hour layover in MSP, home to Milwaukee at 2 in the morning. 14 hours total. All while a miniature troll was trying to get out of my lower intestine using a dull knife.

One of the worst days of my life.

LGA is bad on so many level, not least of which is the absurd difficulty in access in a city that has the best public transportation in the country. Getting in should be a relief but its cramped and youre lucky to find a chair much less a free outlet. Worst ive been in by far, but Atlanta gets mention for just being packed.

Have you been recently? They are completely rebuilding it. I kind of have a soft spot for LGA. You can get from MKE to Manhattan in like 4 hours. There is talk about added a ferry route, which would be cool in the summer for tourists.

New areas have better seating, spacing, restrooms, and better security access (the former SW terminal didn't even have TSA pre-check)

O Hare is my preferred airport, the hour drive is well worth the options to fly direct for me. Sure it can be busy but ive never had a huge wait there.

Was at LaGuardia in October. Found it to be pretty great tbh. I also have never had a bad experience at O'Hare.

Only places I've ever had problem is Atlanta on multiple occasions.

Having said all of that, I only fly 3 or 4 times a year, so I'm no expert.
