No idea tonight but i'm guessing Batman replaces Williams for the time being. I assume that lineup starts on Wednesday. Should be enough to carry us until Rob gets back. That lineup is still a +12 net rating. We should be able to get through a round no problem.

Rotation, in Rob's Absence?:
Starters: Smart - Brown - Tatum - Grant - Horford
Rotation: Pritchard - White - Nesmith - Theis
Reserves: (XXXX) - Stauskas - Hauser - (XXXX) - Kornet

Celts will lose this one tonight. 2-3 starters out, on the road against a hot team, 2nd night of a back-to-back.

should Boston consider "holding out the Js".. perhaps. But I would be shocked If Ime/Boston would do this.

Looks like I was dead wrong with this one. If that being the case hopefully all the young guys get some valuable experience then. A chance for an upset is always possible. I also agree with another poster that maybe Marcus Smart should be given the day off as well
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

TimeLord, Horford, Tatum, and Brown all out tonight.

Aaron Nesmith will get his big shot.

So what junk defense will Nick Nurse throw at us? Box-and-1 on Pritchard?

Ya know... this incredible streak we've been on has surprised most of us, I think. So maybe they keep rolling and keep surprising us.

Celts will be without Defensive Stoppers Tatum, Timelord and Al tonight, plus no Jaylen.

We will see who knows how to box out, who knows how to split the seams of a defense, who has the smarts to move without the ball and create angles for teammates to pass, who has the vision to see open teammates, who can make a friggin wide open shot, who can dribble penetrate and finish with either hand, who can take contact and not b*tch, and who knows when to guard a man vs an area or take a charge. Tonight should be a good window into which players understand the game and which don't have it between the ears (yet). No Al or Timelord means the screens will probably left to Theis and Grant Williams. They'll need a guard or wing to add to that.

PP, Nesmith, Hauser, Stauskas and Williams to play small ball and rain down 68 3s to win by 1 at the buzzer. Theis fouled out in the 2nd, Smart ejected after double techs in the 3rd after a confrontation with Nurse.

Sounds like a disaster.

I'm into it.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
