Cooled off, lol. As if his stats are average.
And, btw, his TS with Philly is .626, tied for career best.

So sad, can't believe we're only getting 23/10/7 from Harden :/

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker

Not good? Exactly what is it you were expecting as soon as he entered a completely new situation with an established group? This isn't a video game where you can just plug in a player and get results.
This will be a work in progress until next season, after Morey does some work on the roster this summer. Right now IMO we're playing with house money.

That tells me that Maxey and Niang are money in any setup, Thybulle should only play with Harden, and Shake shouldn't even see the floor. It also tells me that getting a real backup PG that can distribute anywhere close to Harden is a priority, which would free Maxey up to do what he does best.

Do you also have the same sentiment with me that I find the fouls that are not called on Harden are legit almost always?
The refs aren’t just calling it for some reason as if its because harden kind of found the cheat code to draw fouls and the refs are not calling it for Harden not to ruin the game.

they pointed the swing your arms with the ball to get contact as a no call at the start of the year and its the one thing they have been constant on

Christ last night they called a flagrant offensive foul on him. Not sure I'd ever seen that before.
I suspect what's happening is that they're recognizing the contact is initiated as much by Harden as it is by the defender, and so a no-call is their approach a lot of the time, if the contact isn't heavy. But that fits with your "cheat code" impression in that a lot of the contact is initiated by Harden.

Well if Harden is injured, sit him. I'm tired of the back and forth, he might not be healthy by the playoffs, but why make it worse right now.
Point blank, he looks awful with no explosion and consistently trying and praying for a call. Something needs to be done now rather than later (really more like a week ago), by our incompetent medical staff.....who noone should have any faith in at any time.

I'd sit him the rest of the regular season if needed.

Yes. I thought its easy for him to draw fouls because by the time he attack after the crosses over, the defender is already out of position. But as mik3 said, he would swing the ball with his arms, and I think the league adjusted to this. And much worse is i do think refs has a mandate to not make us a freethrow marathon because they’ll receive a lot of backlash postgame with the free throw disparity.
If Harden is in houston, i think he’d get more fouls. Less than his usual when he was at his prime but more than what he’s getting right now.
Overall, he should adjust. He should accept reality. Take more midrange and trend towards like Nash or CP3 then save some gas for take over ability down the stretch.

I expect him to be much better in the games when we really need him, not in games against Detroit or Indiana.
I also expect him to still be capable to take over a game on offense
And I expect him to be a professional and be in shape during the season
If not, I expect Morey to not sign him to an extension because I prefer us to built around Maxey and Embiid with the cap that comes free after next season and the season after that (Harris)

Re: Welcome James Harden!
We are
14-6 since the Harden trade (.700 winning %, a pace of 57-58 RS wins, right now only Suns have a better winning %)
10-4 in games Harden played (.714 winning %)
Harden is putting 22.4 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 9.9 APG on .618 TS and 3.3 TO (his best since OKC days)
And yet we all know Harden and Sixers can do better.

You're expecting Houston Harden to suddenly reappear, and that guy just doesn't exist anymore.
Funny, but if Sixers fans knew we could trade the ghost of Simmons for a PG that delivered 22-10-7 and helped us to be close to a .700 team record wise, they would be thrilled. But once they found out it was James Harden, all of a sudden that wouldn't be good enough for some (many?).
If Harden gives us anything like 22-10-7 during his time here after signing, combined with a roster that actually fits and more time to work with Embiid and Maxey, we will be a legit title contender for the next few years.

That needs to be a legitimate consideration. Harden should be by no means guaranteed a spot on this team. He should consider himself as "auditioning" for a spot next year as we speak. If he doesn't appear invested and driven, replace him with someone cheaper and use the money elsewhere, while continuing to elevate Maxey's role in the offense.
If I were Morey and company I'd let this matter rest on a single dispositive issue -- can Harden be counted on to win playoff games in the clutch by having the offense run through him? If not, I certainly wouldn't pay him what he'll likely command. Let some other team do that and be saddled with a player who doesn't impact the game at that level but is paid as though he does.
