Toughest dude in the league. More slapstick in a game than a Buster Keaton movie.

More likely you're the exception here.
I doubt it, most people don't consider constant whistles to be fluid basketball. I guess you find Embiid's freethrow shooting to be fluid. Enjoy your definition!
Okay, I get it now. You are using words you don't understand.
No wonder you were so defensive.
Tell me, what exactly do you think "chippy" means in sports?

Dude is washed up but a game or two getting hot and refs saving him created a false perception of him still being great.

Re: Harden's free throw rate since joining Philly is 71%
As a Nets fan, I definitely noticed the difference in foul calls Harden was getting between last year and the start of this year. To be expected considering the NBA basically came out and said in the offseason that they were going to tighten up on the foul baiting, which seemed like a direct message to Harden and Trae specifically.
I have a question, does the NBA record missed shots when a player gets fouled? Because once the fouls started drying up for Harden I noticed his shot-making ability wasn't as good as advertised (historically great offensive player etc).

What makes this even crazier is that Harden can't even get by guys anymore. He's getting to the line by throwing his arms into defenders and hoping to get a call. And by and large refs have obliged. It's plain disgusting basketball.

I defended Harden for the first few months of the season.
Then it become apparent that the decline was real. He hasn't been the same since the hamstring injury.
Burst just isn't there anymore.
If hes not hitting his 3s he has no real way of scoring other than foul baiting.

why would you ever defend a washed up former mvp with no title? man fandom sometimes drives people crazy unrealistic expectation he was already done when he chased cp3 out of town. even 1st yr bkn, he was nowhere the houston days and then he partied which made him injury prone.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

How many games sample size?
Then stay in front of him so you wont foul him.
If the league allows handcheck, he won’t be able to get past defenders as easily but so will most players. That would make the talent gap between Harden and most players be wider.

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I think he’s overwhelmed by the fact that he should be his lightest weight ever at this age but instead he’s the heaviest he’s ever been. Got too fat in the summer, didn’t fix it early.
I think he will still improve in time for the playoffs though and you don’t need a 2017-2018 Harden to win with Embiid. Still the best sidekick Embiid has ever had and Embiid is his best version right now.

Why do y’all use words like washed up when it’s obvious he has no strength or lift from his hamstring injury?? Same sets of fans was calling CP3 washed up in 2019 and now look at him?? His season was even worse then hardens is

That's not going to hold up in the playoffs, should be a major source of concern for the 76ers.

Because James Harden was on his team, that's why. They could sign Russell Westbrook and he'd spend all day trying to explain why he's more valuable than CP3.

Stop lying.
I was attacking Harden way before he got traded from the Nets. I can provide you multiple quotes.
Youre just obsessed with the same nonsense narrative over and over again.

He was really good last year. And was an MVP candidate.
I'm telling you he hasn't been the same since the hamstring injury.

You can make up whatever lies you want.
I criticized Harden profusely before he was traded.
Get a life/hobby and stop worrying about who I choose to criticize or defend

23 PPG and 10 APG on 62 TS% since joining PHILI. Pretty washed imo.

Yes. And I've been heavily critical of Simmons ever since he got traded here.
But that doesn't fit their narrative.

His effective FG% from the field this year is 4% below league average and his finishing percentages in the paint are even worse. It's gotten to the point where free throws are the only thing keeping him from being a Jordan Clarkson-type scorer.
What Harden supporters seem to overlook is that everyone else would be fine with Harden if he actually tried to finish shots instead of fishing for fouls. All the other greats got fouls far more organically. Kobe, Jordan, McGrady types would do something creative in the air or using footwork to try and make the shot. You can see Harden doesn't even to try to make shots, which is why I don't think he's that great of a shooter. He's similar to Lebron in that he can get streaky hot, but he's not consistent enough. Harden needs fouls to offset his inability to make shots.....
I'm so tired of the typical......
