The Russia collusion thing against the orange man resulted in evidence of obstruction of justice that the Republican senators simply refused to acknowledge, because they were in on it. I think it's nuts to believe Trump was innocent, much less be angry that anyone dared to investigate him. That's loony toons stuff right there, the big rich billionaire guy can't be investigated just because he's politically popular, even when he flagrantly, publicly breaks the law? What the hell? If we decide who gets investigated according to their political popularity, the next step after that is secret police disappearing people with politically unpopular views. Like seriously, don't go down that road with the GOP. You won't like where it ends. That's USSR stuff, and one interesting thing about the USSR is the people who were at most danger of being disappeared were the most loyal, the Commies who were most dedicated to repeating the official Soviet talking points were the ones at most risk of being targeted by Stalin for exfiltration to the Gulag - he was paranoid about stuff like that, thought they were just pretending so they could get close enough to assassinate him, or getting too politically popular and wanted to replace him. You think Trump will be all that different? Dude is obviously insane.

That's where cults of personality get you in the end. Infighting and unlimited power to secretly assassinate people at the "commander's orders"=death/exile to the most loyal.

Guys nothing to see here. Just a pure coincidence that the entire Republican Party except for two members covers up criminal behavior. Tell me again how Democrats are the real problem or that Trump is unfairly investigated.

I wish I could say this is monumental and surely will take Trump down but proving he's a lying criminal isn't going to make people who hate Trump hate him any more and it's not going to make his supporters like him any less. We already know he's a dangerous, democracy threatening criminal - it's what his supporters like about him.

Just gotta laugh that many people actually regard him as a martyr. He is anything but. And ironically nobody... has abused our court and legal systems more than he has.

I've enjoyed my short visit here and congratulate you guys on your election victory. Hopefully all of this administration's accomplishments along with D control of House and Senate will serve the party well in the midterms. Obviously voters are happy with the results of the last 14 months and will reward the party that achieved them. And, hopefully Trump's criminal activity will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Cheers

PS - Periodically I may need a reminder that I'm happier when I don't post on this thread. :D

Bye....until your next drive-by.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I don’t care about Trump supporters. They’re long gone. I’d settle for people doing their jobs and prosecuting Trump for his many crimes that were done out in the open.

This is why white collar criminals get away so often. No accountability and lack of balls from prosecutors. I don’t think Trump is going to be held accountable at all.

It's a shame criticism of Trump gets you so upset. I'm sorry you've become a victim of right wing propaganda. I wish I knew how to help you.

I mean, this thread used to be a constant stream of Nate and a few conservative buddies constantly spewing lies and misinformation straight from Fox News' mouth and I'm still here... I guess I have thicker skin. Or I'm a bigger jerk. Hard to tell really. Tomato, tomahto. It's that hard nosed, Bob Knight Ohio upbringing.

Anyway, here's some more lefty political commentary - a really interesting clip of Marlon Brando explaining why he rejected his Oscar in 1973, sending Sacheen Littlefeather in his place to talk about Hollywood's shameful depiction of Native Americans. Speaking of "worst moments in Oscar history," John Wayne tried to rush the stage and had to be restrained by security.

Some of them used to actually push pizzagate - particularly Induveca and SD20. Gosh, it's sad they don't post as much anymore.

I want Trump out of the party Zonk. I think he's brought what's left of conservatism to its knees. The best way to remove him is to indict and prosecute him for criminal wrongdoing (assuming he's guilty of that.) I will rejoice. Please proceed with all criticism and indict him if appropriate.

Lmao STD. The million real estate tycoon, that was a former professional athlete, banged playboy models and supposedly an Bernie supporting Trump cult member. How many times did we hear about the Clinton Foundation from STD? Dude would no doubt be pushing biolabs and Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Cracks me up that a pro-Democratic party troll who spams every political board on Realgm would have the gall to call out other posters. Hillary Clinton's troll farm is still in effect.

Awesome to point out the fallacies of the past and those who posted those fallacies or downright disinformation. If the only embarrassment is the labeling - then you know you have nothing to stand on.
