Lakers are now in serious danger of missing the play-in

Ja out and so is curry. It’s a nail in the coffin if the spurs win tonight. They will have 2 ez Portland games.
I know pop would love to kick the lakers out of the playin while also making it in himself.

I thought for sure the league would make sure Lakers got in but maybe this was the "down year" lol @ Lakers for ratings year.

I haven't checked the schedule though so I cant tell the likelihood they make it in

This is true, but has LeBron come out and said that he is in favor of it now? Like what other choice does he have at this point but to play the games :lol:

Moral of the story, you can be against something and it benefit you at times.

Kind of a pity to see the lakers big three in this situation.
Russ - obviously unhappy with his role and the expectations.
LBJ - probably still a good playoff performer but needs way more help to even get there at this point.
AD - his physical prime ended years ago. Can barely stay on the court now.

Grizz are doing what they can. Beat the Spurs last night and will hopefully hang an L on the Pelicans next week. The Grizz want that pick, but the Lakers need to get their stuff together for it to happen.

I know many people thought this team was overrated (I did) but even they didn't expect it to be this bad.

Is this most embarrassing season for a team ever? Not even getting the 10th seed? Even the Dwight/Nash lakers made the playoffs

No surprise here, Lebron picking and choosing his games to secure the scoring title. His knee was fine against the 76ers, he wanted to avoid Embid. His ankle was fine against Utah, he wanted to avoid Gobert. It’s pathetic at this point and obvious…

He really should. This is do or die now. Especially now that AD will be back, If LeBron isn't quite himself he can still just be a decoy. Still have to respect him even if he was on one leg.

AD and Lebron are supposed to be back for the Pelicans game. I think this is the game that decides if they get in or not. Spurs hold the tie breaker and have Blazers next game so would have a 2 game advantage with 5 games remaining.

Game of the season for Lakers and for Pelicans. Pelicans should make play-in even if they lose, but if they win, they help Spurs overtake Lakers and they get Lakers pick.
AD and Lebron are playing this game. Pels need to go all-in even if that means they need to roll an ankle or two :roll:

You see Lebron deflect blame n lossess.., what would that task be like for him if Westbrook wasn;t there taking most of the heat for the down season ?.

A man that likes to deflect blame, now has the perfect scapegoat.

Russ doesn't give always 100% effort, or he would be much better off ball and on defense.

They should have been having him come off the bench a long time ago. Especially when LeBron plays. All Westbrook does is take the ball out of Lebrons hands. I would have him come in relief.

The fact the Lakers even still have a chance of sneaking into the 8th seed 14 games under .500 is ****. Don’t think Laker or Lebron fans even want to see that team in the playoffs.
