If anyone else is in the same spot I am with Better Call Saul, waiting to see season 5 before season 6 comes out: Season 5 will finally hit Netflix on April 4. Then Season 6 premiers on AMC on April 18. The final season will be 13 episodes, but they are splitting the season into 2 parts. So we'll only get the first half of season 6 at first.

Episode 4 of Winning Time is fantastic. I had no idea Adrian Dantley was on the Lakers training camp roster in 1979. They dumped him for a washed up vet - one of worst trades in NBA history - and still won the title and started a dynasty anyway.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I blew through season 1 of Servant on Apple+ the last couple nights. It's a series from M. Night Shyamalan with his usual creepy feel (but not really horror per se) and lots of twists and turns and suspense and revelations along the way.
I don't really even want to explain the premise because discovering what the crazy-ass premise is for myself has a been a big part of why I'm finding it so good and addictive. But basically a couple hires a nanny for their baby... and everything is just... off.
It's only a 30 minute show so easy to fit in when you have time. Check it out or something.

Hey the first episode of Moon Knight hit Disney+ today. New Marvel series with Oscar Isaac. Looks really cool.

I don't get why Season 5 isn't in Netflix, I remember watching that there before. Did Netflix remove it for a time?

Maybe it wasn't on Netflix in the US but is was in other countries? A buddy and I have been complaining about it and waiting for like 2 years. But I know Netflix can be different in different regions.

New Meshuggah album dropped today, very nice on first listen. They don't change what they do a whole lot, but they are so good at what they do so why would you?
New Animals as Leaders album came out a few days ago as well, I have been listening to it a lot. I wasn't sure what a six year gap would do to their sound but they still sound great too.
I have no idea if anyone around here has any idea what I am talking about.

Having been a massive fan since the mid 90’s, it completely blew my mind that after a 13 year gap they could release an album that was arguably their best in Fear Inoculum. Probably the best live band I’ve ever seen as well.

Anyone here watch Attack on Titan? The anime's final episode of its final season dropped yesterday, except...it's not really the final episode and there'll be another season in 2023.
I mean, I already knew they won't finish the story this season (I've read the manga and there's still A LOT of story to go that won't fit in just 12 episodes), but it's still hilarious that they marketed this as "The Final Season" only to end with a teaser that there'll be a "Final Season: Conclusion Arc" next year. Who were the dumbasses in charge of this

On Cedric Maxwell’s podcast he interviews Norm Nixon whose own son plays him on Winning Ways. It’s cool to see the chemistry between them - Max are obviously great friends. Norm has great insights into Wil Smith saga, current Laker fiasco, the greatness of Kareem, Kobe Bryant and so much more. It’s a great interview.

My first introduction was to the Aenima album.
Been hocked since.
Sitting in my mates basement, smoking weed, eyes closed and going on a wonderful journey with that album.

I’m a Yeagerist and read the manga too. I’m hoping for an OAE. Calling it the final season is smart marketing.

So many nuances and layers that you'll only truly appreciate after a rewatch, and the way the characters develop over the course of the episodes is just remarkable. I honestly think it's surpassed Breaking Bad; the cinematography, writing, and acting are all better imo. Of course, Breaking Bad remains more iconic, but Better Call Saul improved on its formula. Can't wait for the final season.
I'm still waiting to see season 5 before season 6 starts. It needs to hit netflix already.
...but you probably knew that already.

It's also called false advertising, but whatever...I saw a lot of people on Twitter and Reddit feeling deceived that they have to wait another year to see how this story ends

I like the delay because I’m hoping for an AOE. I’m still 50/50 on the Manga ending. Also the delay gives the animators more time to animate. I feel bad for them as animators are underpaid in an industry that makes billions. Speaking on that you should watch if you haven’t yet the interview with the director of the series, the bags under his looks like been bags from lack of sleep. I get calling it the final season is a little bit ridiculous but I’m used to since in Anime they often split 1 season into 2 cours, AoT might be the first to have 3 cours lol. Again I’m cool with it if the delay, gives them more time to animate the rumbling and all the Titan Shifters fighting at the end.

I agree about feeling bad for the animators. I'm placing the blame on this on the studio for rushing production of the anime; they really should've just waited one more year before releasing the final season as a whole. The past two seasons have really suffered in quality in terms of animation compared to the first ones, and I think it's the change in animation studio as well as everything being rushed.
I actually liked the manga ending, I'm not really sure why a lot of fans don't like it. Sticking the landing in a story as complex and convoluted as AOT is a really, really difficult thing to do, and I thought the creator achieved it. Though I'm only referring to the original ending, the one that ended with
