According to sources who were in the locker room at the time, Harden looked at Irving in a perplexed way.

Definitely a weird vibe between them,” one source said. “You could tell Harden was annoyed, and Kyrie wasn’t feeling James.”

Harden also appeared to be annoyed by Irving's status as a part time player when asked by the media.

“I’mma give him the shot,” Harden once joked of Irving.

A well-placed source says Irving was similarly eager to see Harden traded.

I think the entire nets team was peeved with harden being a part time player... since he only gave half effort and was going to vegas between games

Nets have looked so much better/happier since harden was removed

Irving turned Kobe in recent time. He was the best defensive player on the court in a last couple of games.

Then I can say that Nets are the number 1 championship favourite in the East. They're at least 7-8 SRS team, with %100 roster.

It is more likely they get knocked out in the first round than make the finals

James Harden and Kevin Durant went on a trip to Greece together this past summer as their friendship blossomed again following the trade that brought back together nearly 10 years after they were split up by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Sources tell Logan Murdock of The Ringer that Harden reassured Durant twice that he'd sign an extension to remain with the Nets long-term.

Durant signed his extension in August, but Harden declared before the season started that he planned to wait for free agency.

After Durant suffered a knee injury in January, communication with Harden broke down. Harden began searching for a new team while the losses mounted as he played without Durant and without Kyrie Irving for home games.

“It wasn’t like it was a disconnect between us as individuals. I felt like we liked each other,” Durant told The Ringer. “But I was focusing on rehab and he was focusing on the team. Naturally, I wasn’t around the group, but I can’t control how everybody feels about their situation. I can do my best and provide what I provide every day. If it helps someone, cool, if it doesn’t, that’s cool too, but I can’t stress myself out wondering how somebody else feels about the situation.”

Remember when Durant lied to Westbrook about staying in OKC?

I can't stand Harden, but I'm glad KD is getting a taste of his own snake behavior that ruined the league for years.

he is scoring 27 ppg on 60 TS%. everyone has off nights shooting the ball.

when he plays with lineups like tonight of:
Kyrie , Thomas, Blake, Johnson, Drummond

he is going to have to chuck no matter if its falling or not

Interesting to see what happens come playoff time. The Durant/Kyrie line-ups are still +11.5 points/100 possessions.

In comparison, Giannis/Holiday are +11.2 Points/100 possessions.
