I just see so much Greg Jennings in his routes, coming back to the ball, body movement and hands, even his run after the catch has some Jennings to it.
I think the knock on him is he doesn't have anything elite, but a 4.43 is an incredible time yet. It wouldn't shock me if he comes out of this draft as one of the best three WR in it when it is all said and done, but then again I wanted Jalen Reagor so bad, so who knows.
How many NFL WR's are less than 180 lbs ?? Especially at 5'-11". I fear for his life if he runs any routes between the hashes in the NFL. That puts him miles behind Jennings. His 3-cone was pretty horrible at 7.28 and those two things alone may have him off GB's board. For reference, AJ Dillon's 3-cone was 7.19 at 250 lbs. TJ Slaton's 3-cone was 7.9 at 330 lbs. Greg Jennings was 6.68 at 197 lbs. I believe the usual cut-off for WR is 7.1. If you are 180 soaking wet, you better have the ability to teleport. All of this is FWIW, but sill .....
There is a trend of WR slimming way down for the 40 and in general the position (and RB) seems to be telling the 3 cone to F off.
But at the end of the day I am talking about what I see. But I’m a hobbyist that just likes the bit I see with this guy
