Hawks now 24-14 at home but only 13-23 on the road. Biggest discrepancy in the league so far.

I’m glad that you beat a team with fake all star Wiggins, Klay with 1 leg, and Draymond Green coming off an injury. Keep beating the drum that the 500 Hawks would be world beaters if Bogdanovic were healthy. At the end of the day, the Hawks are a mediocre franchise and fell back to earth. Trae ain’t even making the All nba team. Zero noise for him at all.

Look at his advanced metrics. Don't be dense. You knew exactly what I meant.

I am glad we beat a team with a very good record that had three healthy All Stars in the game. You do realize the Hawks record accounting for injuries and covid projects to a 51-55 win team in the much tougher Eastern Conference. That's not mediocre. They have beaten every good team this season even with injuries and covid. They unfortunately also lose to all the bad teams in the NBA which is, I admit, infuriating.

Trae should be first team All NBA this year. His numbers are insane and his value on the court is elite. We'll see if the voters actually paid attention or not.

Take it to the Tnt or PC Board and ask if users would rather have Steph or Collins + Bogdanovic. The Hawks future wouldn’t be so bleak if they were actually worth anything, because Schlenk would actually trade them for a star instead of it being a pipe dream on HawkSquawk.

Stop acting like the Hawks are the only injured team in the league. It’s convenient that you ignored the post above that places the Hawks in the bottom 1/3 to half in terms of quality minutes lost to injuries.

Yeah because if those two arent as good as a HOF and best shooter ever it clearly means they suck and that the hawks have zero future despite their best players being only 23 and 24. Collins last 3 years before this 22/10, 20/10, 18/8 all on elite efficiency…his injuries and usage effecting his numbers this year.

Would you rather be missing Trae Young or Collins/Bogi?

Honestly? Trae. We have shown we can win games the few times Trae is out because the team steps up to the occasion. Missing Collins is a hole we have nothing to replace it with. Same with Bogi. Collins has missed almost every game since the ASG break and was hurt before it. We really do miss him in the lineup. Bogi is our only guard besides Trae that can go get a bucket and also run the offense if needed at the 2 spot.

And now we are two games over .500 after crushing the Thunder. It really is amazing how much better the East is than the West. It was better last year too but this season it really is a no brainer that the East is the better and tougher conference.

In a normal year, the Hawks record would have them around the 6th seed. The play in works perfectly for a year like this one in the East.

No one's talking about this but Brooklyn can easily drop to 10th. Those play in games should be fun games.

It is pretty crazy that 8,9,10 are basically tied with the same record and all of them are above .500 with winning records.

Big win tonight as the Hawks blew the Cavs out of the building on the second of back to back. Had a scare of a lifetime with Trae getting hurt right before halftime but he shrugged it off and played the third quarter and with the Hawks up by 30 or more he sat the entire fourth.

Trae still finished with 30 and 7 in only three quarters. He has 70 points in only six quarters played the last two games which were back to back. Crazy.

We also didn't have our second best player in John Collins and our good rookie Jalen Johnson was out in concussion protocol. With the way the Hawks were shooting I don't think it would have mattered if both teams were healthy tbh.

Collins is a fantastic player, but you’re talking about arguably our 2 best players who also impact offense and defense.

Other than Garland, could you name another starter for the Cavs tonight?

You’re right about the shooting though.

I am not taking anything away from them. In fact I was one of the people on here shocked that Allen wasn't an All Star when reserves were first announced and was glad he made it in anyways. I have Mobley on my fantasy team that is playing for the championship so trust me I have been keeping up with him. I know those are two big losses to the Cavs.

That being said not having Collins is also a huge loss for us and he impacts both offense and defense. This was a game where one team just shot the cover off the ball and when that happens it is really hard to win against that.

Hopefully you guys get your bigs back soon.

Your team is set up for the next 10+ years (depends on Trae). Your fanbase deserves the excitement he brings to the game.

This season is frustrating.

Trae was actually 30 and 9 he got 2 more assists in there somewhere lol. Whats even crazier is i just looked at his last 10 or so games numbers and they are ridiculous right now.

31 PPG 11 APG 3 RPG on 50% FG / 40% 3pt / 96% FT with almost 2 steals a game as well. The Mitten has been in full got em mode lately.

Thank you for the kind words. It is rare to see another team's fan actually say something positive about the Hawks and Trae so it is appreciated.

If it means anything this season for your Cavs is still been a great one. You've went from a twenty something win team to a forty plus win team in just one season and with a lot of injuries. Your future is bright!

The Hawks just beat the refs and some team with KD on it. Unreal how terrible the calls were tonight. Taking away made three point baskets. Any Hawk that breathed on KD was called for a foul. Any time the KD team knocked the ball out somehow they kept it.

But despite that the best guard in the NBA Trae Young had 36/10/6 and crushed the heart of KD and Kyrie. Loved every second it.

Hawks are now 41-37 and own the 8th seed.
