I can see the situational logic in this approach. We set the venus fly trap for him, with KD coming over the help contest the shot as Nic blankets Giannis. My only problem is, you have to challenge there. I don't think either Claxton or Kevin fouled him, but even t they did, players need to see a coach go to bat for them in that scenario. Once again, Nash comes up short.

Claxton played that terribly. It was a blatant foul, even RJ called it out.

Bitch? dude grew up poor on the streets of Greece as an African. Hustled and made his way to the league and is one of the best players in the game. This narrative that he's a dirty player because Kyrie landed on his foot is hilarious. You lost last year just accept it and move on. If Kd scored a bucket in overtime you most likely make the next round and possibly a title.. who knows?

The Kyrie cheap shot is just one of many Giannis has thrown in his career. You can't deny that there's a history with Giannis and these kinds of plays...

How was that not a reckless close out 3 shots AND MF POSSESSION. Sure we threw the game, but WTF IS THAT BS.

Can't blame us for that Giannis 3. Even the game winning free throws were a bad break.

But blowing that 9 point lead was a pure choke job. I'm still livid about it.

This team is not capable of winning in the playoffs. They proved it tonight.

I know Reggie Miller said that KD's shot was "on line" but actually it was always heading for more of the right-side of the rim than the middle, so I don't feel too robbed.

Only lost by 1 point, despite KD and KI not having their best games, and they are more likely to have their best games with playoff adrenaline, as we saw with KD last year....
Whereas Giannis had his best game today (apart from his 8 turnovers, but holding onto the ball will only get harder in the playoffs), and it almost wasn't enough 8-)

We need your boy Ben 10 back to guard Giannis.

Its clear KD was getting exhausted having to do it.

It's really crazy to me how non Nets fans feel comfortable enough to talk sh*t at us on here. I can't be the only one cursing these fools out though so I'm gonna fall back. Some of yall need to step up man I'm getting old

Anyway. We blew the lead in this one but nothing that Milwaukee did scared me at all. Our issue is the fact that we don't have any semblance of good coaching from a strategic standpoint and the Nets players need to match the physicality of the Bucks. We need to fight fire with fire and make the refs call the game tighter. There were too many reckless plays from the Bucks out there that could have injured someone.

That Middleton foul on Brown should have resulted in an altercation. I'm not saying punch the guy but someone should have gotten in his face. The Nets are soft.

This is the game where you play Blake Griffin. He would have been responding in kind to what was going on

Steve Nash sucks. Our entire coaching staff sucks. No adjustments to the defense that Milwaukee played in OT killed us.

Despite all of that, for whatever reason, everyone conveniently ignores the free throw disparity between the two teams; also the game should have been over after the KD free throws, it should be three FT and side out. The refs dodged the question when it was posed and didn’t give an explanation why there was no flagrant. I promise you that call on Nic would not be made if it weren’t Giannis. It was a bogus call. Everyone knows those fouls are not called when the game is 2 seconds to being over. The league has become a joke and it’s clearly showing they are pro Giannis.

Giannis recklessly fouled Kyrie twice; Brown conveniently gets called on a bogus call where Giannis acted so the refs can take the ball out of KDs hands from sealing the game in regulation. These type of games are always rigged in favor of the golden child.
