I read the Orlando game wrong, though. We won that one. Let me go back through. But your numbers aren't right either. :-P

2-3 without post All Star .4 win rate
6-8 with post All Star .428 win rate

2-4 without if you count Washington as without
6-7 with if you count Washington as without

Pretty sure that's correct. So slightly better with him. Also had our three game win streak with him and our biggest win of the season (against Atlanta) with him.

You don't get to count the Washington game! Looks like a wash to me!

It's OK, I can't read. :-P

Point is, I think the current iteration of our team (by the numbers) wins just as well or better with Grant than without. His secondary playmaking ability is something we can really benefit from longterm, IMO.

But seriously, look at how the team played in the 5 games without.

W vs. Sixers (last night; great game)
L vs. Nets (we played them tough the ENTIRE night and that is a team many expect to come out of the East)
L vs. Knicks (lost by TWO with us playing Key/Jackson and trying to lose)
L vs. Blazers (Same thing; we're running out Pickett/Garza/Lee and lose by 4)
W vs. Magic (Sadiq game)

My point is, we're at the point in the season where we're running out Garza, Lee, Pickett & Key. We're watching Casey deliberately throw games and we're still competing with a chance to win. Those could very well have been W's if we weren't tanking, so it's kinda hard to judge based solely on record. I'm just looking at the way the team is playing overall.

I mean, we definitely had good games with Grant in the line up (and playing well) also, including that three game winning streak and that beatdown of Atlanta (probably our most dominant win of the season).
