Just for fun - as of March 29, 2022, what is your relative pecking order for the Receivers on the Packers roster? I'm subjectively considering route running, hands, relative elusiveness after catch, and blocking for criteria.

*In order*
1. Aaron Jones
2. Allen Lazard
3. AJ Dillon
4. Robert Tonyan
5. Randall Cobb
6. Josiah Deguarra
7. Marcedes Lewis
8. Dominique Daffney
9. Amari Rogers

After those guys, Kylin Hill, Juwann Winfree flashed some possibilities. The other guys have to make a notable step up to be considered.

I have this irrational gut feeling Winfree is going to turn heads and contribute significantly during the season.

He looks like a guy that can get separation, has the moves. What’s up with him and all of our young WR fumbling though? It’s almost a chronic thing for us. We really need to coach this out.

I think we should split Aaron Jones out wide more this year, he's so good at catching the ball and the pre snap movement would be nice. Having packages with Jones and Dillon back there would be nice as is, throw a good blocking TE with them and we might run 60% of the time anyways

I thought they should have used him in that jet sweep spot more last season. Not sure why they seemed to go away from that look in general last season.

Trade Jaire for two firsts, or first and second. Packers secondary was just fine without him last year. Packers would be a much better team with two first round quality players and an extra $20 million to spend on other players.

I kind of see what you're saying, but corners like Jaire don't grow on trees. Rasual was scooped up off the Cardinals practice squad after being on his third team that same year. Stokes looked incredible his rookie year but could always hit a sophomore slump. I don't think either will fall off a cliff, but you need to at least account for those factors as we could see some regression. That being said, Jaire is pretty much a sure thing anytime he steps out on the field and has the ability to shadow any receiver or lock down an entire side of the field.

I don't expect the Packers to do this, but trading Jaire would be the good move.

Let's hope it doesn't come to the nuclear option. Part of the problem is that Jaire isn't the only up and comer on this squad that's due for a pay day and the FO has already kicked the Cap can into the next couple of years. I don't know where the cash will be found.

Cap space isn't really an issue. We already made the tough decisions this offseason so next year has a much better outlook. Extend Jaire + Jenkins...maybe you have to cut Jones and let one of Amos/Savage walk. Not a big deal

Packers have three pro bowl caliber cornerbacks, and not a receiver worthy of being a second option. Sometimes a strength needs to be sacraficed to compensate for a weakness due to limited financial resources. For example, imagine if the Cowboys traded Elliot before giving him that huge contract and getting two quality young players and lots of extra cap space.

Except Jaire doesn't need to be sacrificed right now. We already have the capital to obtain WR talent and trading him doesn't let us
spend money on a WR this season (dead cap same as cap hit)

Tag and trade next off season? Yeah, we can discuss it then. But there's like 0 reason to do it now

We finally have a potentially dominant defense or at least a top tier defense. Our special teams should be a LOT better. Our OL is good, our running backs are good QB is great. Having 3 top CB’s is not a luxury. Not in a pass happy 17 game season. Of course we need some receivers but we’re in great shape everywhere else.

Jenkins and Gary will also be getting monster contracts. Hard to know what to do given we don’t really know how long Rodgers is going to stay.

If we turned Jaire into a first and second I think it would be a good move but I love watching him play so happy if we don’t too.

If Parker is going for a 3rd 5th swap then I think Cory Davis for a 4th is probably doable. Especially if they draft a WR
