doncic has the potential to be the best player to ever play basketball, if he gets lucky in his career with good teams and keeps doing what hes doing

I think he has slightly more help than he had vs LAC and it took their entire team to beat Mavs in 7 games. Can they be stopped? Sure, but easy? I don't think so. Also, depends who their opponents are.

It looks like someone forgot how the series against the Clippers looked like last year...

61 games played took him out of contention

If Luka only played in the world of one on one basketball maybe then he would be considered a potential mvp...but Luka didn’t even have the best game this weekend.

The two nba mvp candidates been on a roll....for the whole year - giannis and Jokic
KD was ahead of Luka before KD got hurt in mvp standing
Embiid is going to be considered a better mvp candidate than Luka because he has been better longer...
Ja was ahead Of Luka in mvp votes before he got hurt

Booker is gonna surpass Luka in MVP votes now after kept Phoenix winning with CP3 out....

Luka gonna need to take the offseason serious and come in playing hard from jump next year to even be in consideration next year...

But It will be Jokic to lose considering he will be back to back MVPs....Luka ain’t on Jokic level at all... no one touches the point center

The whole team does that kinda stuff. I'm honestly shocked that Patrick Beverly isn't a member of the Bucks.

Edit: Or Zaza.

I didn’t notice that - that’s not cool

They don't. This is a case of overreacting to overreact because there's an axe to grind.

Hardly. There's 2 separate threads still on the 1st page on GB talking about this subject. Neither started by me btw and I hardly post in either one.....though I do approve of what the TS said in both cases.

That's consistent with him not being a real DPOY candidate all season, he's only talked about THIS season in the this context cuz of reputation.
Part of that if ofc not his fault, playing large chunk of the season out of position because of Lopez's absence but still..it is what it is

Best offensive. *Maybe*....and that's pushing it. He's nowhere near Mike's level on defense and he likely will never even approach it.

Still very, very good player-obviously.

Right on point, without the superiors cast, Luka is in no business bringing the Mavs to have a better record than 76ers, Bucks, or Nuggets. But Ja though - I thought you consider Trae better than Ja, but obviously Trae is not in MVP discussion.

Joker has to stop forcing passes and just go score. You don’t have all Stars around you. I’ve said this countless times

Officiating in the Denver game is a **** embarrassment for the NBA but also totally unsurprising.

I love Luka but some of his fans are weird as hell -

Giannis goes 44-14 and 6 and 40-14 and 6 to beat Brooklyn and 76rs and if giannis loses to Dallas in a close game

after Dallas loses by 30 to Washington two nights before...

Luka is better than Giannis and it’s not close lol

and Luka mvp And Luka best ever and Giannis sucks all on one game....lol

Dude, you have been salty all morning. A case for Doncic be top 3 in MVP can certainly be made but I would not bet on it. We as Mavs fans are happy with him top 5 in MVP and 1st team all-nba three years in a row. But like he said, not winning a championship everything else does not mean much. Try enjoying the rest of the Sunday afternoon.

Still can’t believe they called that charge against jokic as an and 1 for AD. Really a terribly bad call and they keep reshowing it on abc over and over again lol.
