Rudy in comparison rarely has the ball and passes the ball 4,5 times per game to Donovan. He has by far the highest usage on his team but only passes the ball 2,3 times to Rudy.

Theres alot of times where Rudy seals a small inside and doesnt get the ball for an easy dunk. He looks pissed alot from it

After Utah gets rekt in the 1st round they should blow it up. Team hit its ceiling last year and alltime choked

If the pandemic taught me one thing, is that if Rudy didn't covid, nobody would have. Like in the NBA or all of the United States.

I really thought the whole beef thing was overblown before, but man, that lack of a pass there was something else. Either there's a beef or Mitchell is one of the most low IQ basketball players ever.

Even with a man sealed how would anyone have confidence in Gobert? If it’s not a lob why pass it, I think that’s his reasoning.

That's what I was thinking, he was at around 2.5 seconds, so it would have been at the border of a three second call as soon as he caught it. The passes per game is interesting though.

I’ve noticed this for a while now every time I watch Jazz games.

Rudy will get switched onto a guard & get deep in the paint calling for the ball — Afterwards, the perimeter guys (mostly Mitchell) will just play hot potato around the 3 point line until Gobert has to clear the lane.

This often leads to Mitchell chucking shots.

We can talk about Gobert’s bad hands & quirky mechanics around the basket, but it has to be a chemistry-destroyer when one guy has to cover up for everyone on defense yet they don’t even wanna pass him the ball on offense.

Contrast that with a team like Phoenix where as SOON as the Ayton touches the FT line on a rim run, they get him the ball.

Rudy is 29. He is still has value though so should trade them both. Start over. Should be able to get great assets and young prospects with those two.

Lol, worrying about a violation the refs never call is not a reason to avoid passing to Gobert for an easy dunk.

I mean, if that's the case, why even bring the ball past half court, you might get a charge called on you. Better to heave a 3 from beyond the center line.
