No Pace Vs. The Pacers, Sixers @ Pacers 4/5 7:00pm EST
Just counting down the games till **** gets real at this point, would still like to see a W here. Maybe sit Joel for this one, but they probably won’t. Should be fun watching the two Tyrese’s go at it.
Go Sixers
Go Sixers
always a jump shot away.

I want Embiid to score 40 points a game and win the scoring tittle because I am sick of LeBron fans.
LeBron has a scoring advantage because it is OK for the Lakers to lose.
Actually I think it might be OK for the 76ers to lose as well because that way the 76ers avoid playing the Raptors in the first round and play the Bulls instead and I think the Bulls are a less dangerous team than the Raptors.

I worry about our depth against a team like the Raptors. We need another scorer off the bench. Another big guy that can get points. Chris Gatling during his Mavs run would be perfect.

Toronto would be a nightmare first round. A team of young, long, and athletic forwards who can defend and will play their asses off. Nurse will coach circles around Doc and we’ll also be down an unnamed player due to vacciné requirements.
We enter round 2 tired & banged up after a 6 game series.

Play starters vs Pacers to get a hopefully easy win, rest them vs Toronto.

Haliburton just had 19 pts,17 assists, 9 rebounds with zero turnovers. Plus we wouldn't have had to give up Seth,Drummond and two 1st round picks. Its a depressing time being a 76ers fan right now.

This.
We are not beating Toronto if that’s who we play. Too athletic they will kill us on the glass and get 15 more shot attempts per game.

76ers and Bucks are tied for 3 and 4. Bucks won the tiebreaker with the 76ers
Celtics are tied in the loss column with the 76ers and Bucks. Celtics played one more game and won that game.
Celtics and 76ers have tied at 2-2 in head to head season series tie breaker. The next tie breaker for Celtics vs 76ers is record with in the division. The Celtics won the head to head tie breaker vs the Bucks. Celtics won the 2nd tie breaker vs the 76ers, more wins in the division.
Do the Bucks and Celtics have any less reason than the 76ers for wanting to not face the Raptors? I do think the Raptors are better than the Bulls. The Raptors are hotter than the Bulls.
Bulls and Raptors are tied for 5th and 6th seed. The Bulls won the head to head tie breaker.
You can not tell which of the Bulls and Raptors will end up in which seed.
A few years ago in the West in the last two games teams were throwing games to try to control the playoffs match ups.
When there are two games remaining the 76ers should look and see whether winning or losing looks better for avoiding the Raptors. If you need to lose in order to avoid the Raptors just give the starters a "rest day".
In a Celtics, 76ers, Bucks 3 way tie, each team will have a 4 and 4 record angainst the others so conference wins becomes the tie breaker. Bucks and Celtics are a game ahead of the 76ers in the conference wins tiebreaker.
Every team in the league plays the final day of the season April 10. Of the 5 teams Celtics, 76ers, Bucks, Bulls and Raptors the 76ers are the only team playing their 81st game on April 9. The 76ers get to see what they need to do. If the 76ers need to lose to the Pacers April 9 and lose to the Pistons April 10 they should be able to do it even if the 76ers have to pay the tanking Pistons to try to win.

76ers winning all their remaing games is not good enough to get the 2 seed. 76ers also need for the Bucks and Celtics to both lose a game.

Right. But they play each other in Milwaukee, so that’s one loss for one of them.
Celtics won’t have a home game and that’s the remaining schedule for them:

@Memphis

Yes both MIL and BOS should lose at least one more. So we get #2 if we win out. Now that BKN has faded that's our best option.
Likely get CLE or ATL as our 1st round opponent. Even if BKN gets there, they're not that good. Just got lucky against us last time.
Then home court in the 2nd round vs. MIL or BOS.

At this point there's no really way of predicting what seed will get what draw, way too many moving parts. To me, the optimal draw would be anything that avoids MIL or BOS until the ECF, even if that means playing TOR in the 1st round.

I don't think avoiding MIL or BOS in the 2nd round matters anymore. We have to face them either in the 2nd or the 3rd round.
So it's best to have homecourt whenever that goes down. Against BOS playing them before Timelord comes back would be huge.

As #2 seed, we'd be playing them in the 2nd round and ECF if we made it that far. I'd prefer to deal with only one of them, be it with or without home court.

Annoyed that coaches are complaining about FTS. It's a strategic move for the playoffs .

F that. Tired of the ducking teams mindset. How the hell did that work out for us last season? Not afraid of the raptors at all. How can we consider ourselves contenders with a MVP candidate if we're afraid to play young over achieving teams.
