I see SammysuckerTS continuing his trolling ways as usual.

The Great Spobotto v.2.5.1 is not just Spobotto, He is the Great Spobotto.

Some ya'll anti-Spoers are kinda ridiculous. You go out of your way to discredit anything he does. Bam and Butler all missed over 20 games and we still no 1 seed and you got players likers Caleb, Struss, Yurt , Gabe who we didn't think were rotational players at start of the season all contributing but coaching had nothing to do with it.
It's a fact this is a great regular season. It's a fact Spo coached a great season and he should be in the coach of year discussion.

The playoffs are different matter. There are fair questions whether small ball will work against Bucks or Sixers. But that remains to be seen. The playoffs will be judge differently. Its hard to have a fair discussion on Spo when some you won't accept positive facts about what he's done.

its because of players, not this coach. Did you forget the reason this android gave Yurt some playing time? or should i remind you, it was because both bam and Dedmond were injured, so unless you agree with his same ridiculous rotations we should have played Gabe Vincent as a starting center. The fact is Spo is a medicre coach and we will always be at a tremendous disavantage as long as he is at the helm.

He was voted a top 15 coach ever. I promise you the experts and voters who decided that collectively know more than you and Heat down under. Just like all those opinions on Bam lol. Say what you want on this forum and preach like you all are right but the people who actually do this stuff for a living know far more lol

The Great Spobotto has become the son of DAntoni. Smallball gimmick to win many regular contests.

But he doesn't maximize the teams strengths anymore, he's a philosophy teacher. Just like DAntoni the Great.

Herro's Turnovers against the Raptors.

There's one missing where NBA says he stepped out of bounds. NBA.com had the wrong video for it so I didn't include it. EDIT: I went back and watched the 2nd quarter and I think this was it. Refs must've gone back, looked at it, taken away the 3, and given him a TOV.

Spoiler:

Interesting to note is that this the first game Herro's played PG in quite a while. It seems one of the changes Spo made was to go with Jimmy and Gabe as the primary playmaker and ball handler, but both were missing this game.

Good find with the highlights. I don't know, NBA seems pretty inconsistent with what they classify as turnovers and what they do not.

For example, Herro makes a difficult pass to Yurt in the 2nd quarter and Omer is actually able to catch it but then fumbles it a second later. Should it be a turnover on Herro, or should it be a turnover on Yurt?

Another example, during a defensive sequence in the second half Herro deflects the ball and then chases it from going out of bounds but throws it back to the Raptor players. Should that really be a turnover? He didn't even have possession of the ball.

Another example, Herro makes a bad pass to Yurt and it actually hits the backboard without Yurt even touching it - that can also be easily classified as a shot attempt as opposed to a turnover.

All in all, turnovers don't accurately tell the entire story. People might look at the box score and see that Herro had 8 of them, and then they might start thinking to themselves that he was a liability all night long, but we all know that's far from the truth as his playmaking and vision is what lead us to winning the game. 3 of those T/O's should arguably not even count, and the other one was from an offensive foul call.

There’s about 4-5 of them in a little cult. Anti-Spo, Bam, Jimmy while being pro Herro & Yurt. It’s the weirdest thing lol. Why not just be happy for everyone and realize it’s a collective effort to secure the 1st seed. Were crying about switching (I agree it needs to be tinkered in certain matchups) while we’re a top 4 defense in the league. We have a top 6 net rating in the league with the current group and our coaches schemes.

Spo played a major role, Jimmy played a major role, Bam played a major role, Herro played a major role, Yurt has helped at times, Duncan **** sucks, etc.

I disagree that it has anything to do with Herro. All of this boils down to an obsession with Yurt. That is literally the driver of this board being damn near unreadable now. Because Spo won't give rookie Yogurt consistent minutes.

That was Spobotto 1.2.7, a different Spobotto that played bigs like Birdman, Whiteside, Bosh, Miles Leonard.

This new version of Spobotto doesn't play any bigs over 6'9. He was infected with the DAntoni smallball virus and replicated DAntoni.

Thus, he is now son of DAntoni.

So if we lose we’ll just chalk it up to an undrafted 3rd string center not playing and you’ll claim you were right?

Bosh was a known pf his entire career before his second year in Miami. Starting Bosh at the 5 with Shane Battier at the 4 spot was the epitome of 'small ball'. People used to call us the Miami Midgets for a reason. Lol
